I mean...OBJ is still going to be the centerpiece of our aerial attack. Boldin would represent a nice physical possession option to bookend OBJ.

I can't imagine Cruz being expected to be an every down receiver. In fact I wouldn't mind us platooning the slot with Cruz/Harris.
I'm really looking forward to the maybe 5 snaps of Cruz and Odell together we might get this season.

Has me real pumped for the 1 Eli interception, 2 drops, and 2 20 yard gains.

Yeah, I'm certainly not holding my breath. Thankful we have Dwayne Harris. He showed me a lot last year. I was somewhat upset we spent so much on what was initially a special teamer.

He has really blossomed into a nice slot option. Tough kid too. Played through a lot of wear and tear last year.

We lose Cruz, I'm fine with Harris manning the slot.

But we do need a solid Z receiver.

When's it Odell contract time I'm thinking he's going to be around 90-100 mill

:lol I'm thinking franchise tag and possible holdout from him.

Ugh its going to be a pain...

He's going to want the richest receiver contract in NFL history.

Our offense was good last year. Wouldve easily made the playoffs had our defense not **** the bed every other game.

Yeah our offense was solid. Our run game took a lot of time to come together.

Our defense was definitely the biggest weakness. We still need help at linebacker.

But IMO we can't ignore the run game. We need to get better at time management. That's what really hurt us in the early going last year. We can't wait for Rashad Jennings to come to form in the final four games of the year. We need to hit the ground running, literally.

Obviously Coughlin screwed up a bit in those Cowboys and Falcons games but a steady running attack would really alleviate a lot of time management issues we've had.

I just don't want us to draft Elliot. :{
Enhance the defense. It's more important. Waste a later pick on an RB and pray you found a gem. Good play calling could alleviate many issues for our rush attack, Vereen and Jennings are not that bad at all.

Yeah I'm not big on Eazy E myself. Proponent of taking a stab at an undrafted RB.

Seems like every year a decent RB falls out of the draft.

Really do not want us to spend a pick on a RB or receiver early. OL and LB should be our #1 priorities.

Cruz declined every year and hasn't played in a year and a half, he is finished

Yeah I don't think anyone here is suggesting otherwise.

Rather, we're cautiously optimistic. Fine with Dwayne Harris in the slot if worse comes to worst.

i'm saying. Especially with that injury he suffered?

done.

There's a reason he didn't play last season.

people really hang onto that rookie season, I like Cruz too, I thought it was awesome what he did for the Sandy Hook shooting victim's family but he's really had one great season which was his first.

He tore his patellar tendon in 2014 which he returned from then subsequently tore a calf muscle. He's reportedly over that injury.

The biggest concern was the torn patellar tendon, not so much his calf injury. The two injuries are unrelated.

If anything, he's had even more time to recover from the patellar tear.

Whether or not his explosiveness has returned has yet to be seen...

And hey, at worst? We retained the freshest cat in the league. :lol

Ya'll know ya'll like 'em trainers. :smokin

@sdutKevinAcee: Eric Weddle has at least four irons in fire. Raiders are one. Just in talking phase with those teams now.

I wonder about the other 3...
