JPP hasn't been the same since his back injury. He was good his first year and unstoppable his second year but hasn't been the same since. His agent doesn't want him to sign until he can pass a physical. I'm happy I didn't buy his jersey when it was 50% off.

def good idea to wait for the 99% off sale

It's not about Hardy being charged it's because it happened prior to the new policy

But the original penalty was 10 games by Goodell and Toms original penalty, as it still stands now, is 4 games. The arbitrator realized this was obviously too harsh, especially for a guy that already missed 15 games (regardless of receiving pay or not). The NFL could care less about domestic violence but to appease its sponsors, they came down hard on Hardy (no pun intended) to give the perception that they give a ****. Now that it's been appealed, and ultimately will most likely go to court, NFL can lift their arms up now and say "Hey, we tried and did our part."

Either way this kinda works out for the Cowboys because they now know the amount of money in Hardys contract that will most likely contribute towards the cap, possibly making a Dez deal even more feasible.

Only two days left...

He was good last year. 12.5 sacks, and was a monster against the run. 49 stops which is first among 4-3 ends.

So many crocodile tears about the NFL not doing this or not doing that in regards to punishments.

So self righteous in their dislike of Goodell and how unfair it all is. Wahh wahh.

In reality it's all about you not wanting the player on your team to be suspended, for all of these fans.

Really they could call care less what a player on their team does, any available excuse to claim he should get to play will get ate up.

IMO both Hardy and Brady should be serving at a minimum their original suspensions.  And Ray Rice and Adrian Peterson got what they deserved too.

Yea 12.5 sacks.

But only 3.5 in the last 11 games. And plenty of games registering 1 tackle.
I think you mean 3.5 in the first 11 games. And the amount of tackles he had was above average compared to other DEs.

Alot 4-3 defensive ends only get 1 tackle some games

Most teams run in A on B bubble not the C or D gap

JPP had some great games last year but had some games where I couldn't tell if he was even on the field.

And I agree with 100027 100027 all these players should be serving their full suspensions. We hear how tough and strict the league is then cut punishments by more than half. Doesn't make any sense. Roger is a joke.

Peyton Manning with Hilarious Story Regarding 40-Yard Dash Times

Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning has never been a fan of scouts utilizing the 40-yard dash to grade players at his position.

This hasn’t changed throughout his NFL career, and a recent story Manning told at his quarterback camp last week proves this to a T.

“When I was a senior being recruited by Tulane at the Tulane Football Camp, we ran 40’s and they said that I ran a 4.88 (seconds) that day,” Manning said jokingly, via the New Orleans Times-Picayune. “I’m pretty sure that was (then Tulane coach) Buddy Teevens just doing some good recruiting. I probably ran about a 5.1.”

“I remember Eli was a 7th-grader at the camp, the youngest kid at the camp. He’s the only guy who ran his 40 wearing his helmet. I don’t know why he had his helmet on. I remember he ran a 6.2, (that) was the time that I heard — a humbling moment for Eli.”

Neither Manning brother is known for being light on their feet. In fact, they have tallied a total of 1,135 rushing yards in 28 combined years in the NFL. For comparison’s sake, Russell Wilson and Colin Kaepernick combined for 1,488 rushing yards last season alone.

This just magnifies what most outside of the mainstream believe. There are two different types of quarterbacks in today’s NFL. Just as simply being mobile doesn’t equate to success, being a immobile target in the offensive backfield doesn’t lead to a lack of success.

Though, it must be noted that this one “athletic” writer can now ran a much faster time than Eli ran when he was in seventh grade. Unfortunately, I am not 6-foot-4 and can’t throw the ball 60 yards on the line—further proving our previous point. Kinda.

:lol

I read Eli Manning: The Making of a Quaterback a long time ago. It was a great book though. Peyton took everything so serious when he was a kid.

Buffalo Bills offensive line coach Aaron Kromer is making news for the wrong reason.

According to ESPN’s Mike Rodak, the newly hired assistant was arrested on a misdemeanor for allegedly punching a boy and threatening to kill his family due to a dispute over beach chairs. Per Rodak:

Kromer, 48, has been accused of pushing one of the boys to the ground and punching him in the face after throwing the fishing pole into the water. Kromer allegedly then ordered that the chairs be returned to where they were found and told the boy that he would kill his family if he reported him to the police, according to the statement.

It would be wise to reserve judgment until all facts are released, but nevertheless, Kromer will certainly be the subject of scrutiny and perhaps suspended temporarily while the case is investigated.

Last season as the Chicago Bears offensive coordinator, Kromer criticized quarterback Jay Cutler through the media. He apologized later during a team meeting.

John Elway Believes 2014 Draft Class Should’ve Played More Last Season

The Denver Broncos were a veteran-oriented team in 2014, but the franchise’s best-known executive wants the young players to get a chance this season.

According to ESPN’s Jeff Legwold, executive vice president of football operations and general manager John Elway suggested Fox should’ve used the rookies—excluding cornerback Bradley Roby—more often. Per Legwold:

“Elway was adamant he believed some of the team’s rookies last season could have, and should have, played more. In the end, John Fox’s staff used Roby plenty, but the rest of the 2014 rookies were little more than spot players.

Of the 999 snaps played in the regular season by the team’s 2014 draft picks last season, Roby played 805 of them — or 80.6 percent.”

Roby, the team’s first-round pick, was a regular contributor on the league’s third-best defense. However, Denver depth kept its recent draftees on the sideline.

Although wide receiver Cody Latimer spent the 2014 season behind Demaryius Thomas, Emmanuel Sanders and Wes Welker on the depth chart, Thomas’ holdout and Welker’s departure has allowed Latimer to occupy the No. 2 receiver role this summer. He should make a larger impact next season, even as the third option for Peyton Manning.

Offensive linemen Michael Schofield and Matt Paradis never appeared in a game last season, but they’ve moved up the depth chart simply by staying on the roster. The Broncos did not re-sign Will Montgomery and traded Manny Ramirez to the Detroit Lions.

While linebackers Lamin Barrow and Corey Nelson were trapped behind a deep linebacking corps, each player should provide an impact on special teams this season. Late-round selections shouldn’t be expected to offer much more than that, though players like Barrow and Nelson need to find a role soon so they don’t get cut.

Denver has one of the league’s most veteran leaders in Manning, but if new head coach Gary Kubiak follows Elway’s recommendation, a few fresh faces will occupy the Broncos starting unit.

Mia Khalifa embarrasses Duke Williams, who was being thirst on Twitter
July 13, 2015
by Steve DelVecchio

How many times can Buffalo Bills safety Duke Williams send a direct message to an adult film star before that adult film star decides to expose him? The answer is five, apparently.

On Sunday, porn star Mia Khalifa called out Williams — publicly, of course — after he sent her a private message on Twitter for the fifth time in five months.

Warning: Trespassers in my DM's will be shot and hung out to dry in public. pic.twitter.com/aPUGkmooat

— Mia Khalifa (@miakhalifa) July 12, 2015

While the response from Khalifa may have seemed a bit harsh, Williams probably should have given up after she ignored him the first two or three times. Perhaps he thought he had a chance with her since Khalifa once tried to recruit a certain quarterback to Florida State.

Then again, Williams would have known this was coming if he paid attention when Khalifa called out Drake for creeping on her. That was before Williams messaged her for the first time. He kind of had it coming.

:rollin

Never trust an adult film star
