Hello old friends……

Same dude who reported his passing now says Mike Williams is still alive but fighting for his life rn

Really hope he can pull through.

I LOVED Justin fields coming out of college, said the jets should have picked him at 2.

But they gotta pump the brakes on his hype this season. They saw what Hurts did and automatically think Fields will do it too

Leave millions on the table to play another year of amateur football.

Smart.

Caleb Williams, another name surfacing as a significant financial beneficiary of the NIL era, is poised to garner an estimated $2.6 million in NIL-related ventures throughout this year. This figure stands over $1.6 million higher than Trevor Lawrence's base salary for the current season, pegged at $940,000

Can’t compare base salaries alone to NILs. Need to look at total compensation since base salaries get converted to bonuses for cap reasons all the time. Lawrence got another 10 mil guaranteed this year.

NIL money is insane but a top pick still stands to make significantly more as a pro in salary + bonuses alone.

That’s definitely moving goalposts trying to use base salary as the example lol.

The projected contract for the No. 1 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft is estimated to be around $41,217,000 in total value, with a signing bonus of approximately $26,976,000 and a 2023 salary cap hit of $7,494,000, according to Spotrac.

Bottomline… buddy is going in the draft next year regardless lol

We know NFL money is more.

But these kids ain't starving college athletes like years before. I do think he should come out while his stock is the highest cuz you don't wanna pull a Matt Leinart.
