Raiders went for "big" names in Gruden and McDaniels and they backfired horribly.

Those are better coaches but AP deserves a chance at the HC gig given how the team has responded.

Would rather them take a chance on someone new than hiring an established coach or retread.

Offense is horrible and team beating on teams who quit. Raiders had zero business winning this game. This was more of an indictment on the chiefs. This formula has never been a sustainable formula for winning in the NFL.
Raiders need a coach who can build a team not only get his players to play hard.

Harbaugh's not leaving UM. Bill too old. Pitt would be prisoners of the moment firing Tomlin. He hasn't had a decent qb in nearly a decade.

Harbaugh is not about to sit around and be suspended for a year because that’s what coming for him. Tomlin in Pittsburg is turning into Jeff Fischer. He needs a fresh start and so does Pittsburg. Exact thing happened with Cower.
Bill isn’t too old he just doesn’t need to be the GM. He’s still the greatest defensive mind in the league but he needs a boss to answer to

Since when has Josh Daniels been a big name?
Gruden was on anybody’s list when they hired him. The hired him based off of past history and incompetence based on that ridiculous contract.

Tomlin is already coming back for Pitt. believe that announced/strongly rumored already.
Belichick likely won't come without the GM role as well...which will be a disaster for any team in 2023 (proven).
so that leaves Harbaugh. i'm a Michigan fan and he's a good coach but it's been a while since he's been in the NFL. QB was an issue at Michigan for WHILE (and the passing game still isn't great) so not sure how it's a slam dunk that things suddenly take off for the Raiders there

give a GM and AP a chance would be my vote since the locker room is already bought in with AP. that's an underrated aspect of how successful a coach can be

That’s the POINT! They had a bad day passing the ball.

Zaire had 145 yards rushing and the defense did their part.

UM is standing by him and will pay whatever to keep him. Don't see him leaving, fam. Tomlin isn't close to turning into Jeff Fischer. Man is winning games with insert bum qb here, Najee Harris and a petulant child in Pickens and whoever else is running routes. The guys smoking gars in that locker room aren't going to respond to Bill B like they've responded to AP. Bill hasn't proven he can win with Tom and there's no Tom in the Raiders locker room.
