That's the thing right there. Sam is playing decent but it's the defense that's dominanting. Look at the record of the teams the Vikes beat compared to the records of the teams the Lions beat.

It could change later but as of this moment, the Vikes are the team to beat. The Lions D was already suspect but now that Hutch is out, it's gonna get rougher for them.

I don’t think their defense is as suspect as it was a year ago. It will be interesting to see how the do without Hutch.
