OFFICIAL NFL THREAD 2024-25: Week XVI Saquon BRUH

I got a blank check for Ben Johnson, Sam Darnold and Tee Higgins to come to Vegas this off-season. I’m tired bros. Not trying to trade hella to take sheduer or ward.
It’s not a good QB class. The strength is OT and interior DL. Kick the tires on Kirk and shore up the OLine for whoever your franchise QB ends up being.

This the best 1st round ever?

1989….. Aikman, Deion, Barry and Derrick Thomas all top 5

The only reason Lamar isn’t the clear cut MVP is cause he already has two and voters caring more about narrative + post season optics instead of just who has been the best player this season. It’s the Embiid v Jokic mvp debate again when Jokic should’ve won 3 in a row but didn’t cause he hadn’t been to the finals yet (ironically went on to win the championship that season)

Lamar also getting heavily penalized for the team record in the Allen convo even though that can basically be directly attributed to having a bottom 3 pass defense in the league, top 3 most penalized, and the worst kicker. Nothing that has to do with him.

And even with all that, they still dog walked Allen and the Bills. And played a much tougher schedule.

Do Ravens fans even care if Lamar wins MVP? I feel like they've done all that before and really just want to see him in the Super Bowl.

Obviously everybody wants the Super Bowl and that’s most important.

But I think we definitely want Lamar to win MVP, especially given the scenario this year. One of the best seasons at the QB position ever played. Watching Allen win, who doesn’t have the numbers, AND did absolutely nothing in the H2H matchup where they got killed is a bit of a tough pill to swallow.

Goff should be mvp

But we know it’s popularity contest. He’s got the stats, all his running backs and receivers breaking records, all the points scored

The nfl is a joke

Lamar only has 4 regular season losses of more than one score in his career and hasn’t had one in 3 years

Josh Allen will win the MVP because he and the Bills were the only ones to beat the Chiefs this season.

It won’t make the pain go away Detroit

You lost in the NFC championship when you were up big.

Beating half of a non playoff team by one score where the QB threw 2 picks is not a flex.

I love story book endings so I’d love to see them win it all, but no one is scared to play the Lions right now.
