The NFL was wrong this year trying to take Christmas from the NBA. The rest this year was too short.

Was just talking from a sports viewership perspective.
Thought it was common knowledge amongst sports fans that Christmas was for the NBA and the NFL has Thanksgiving.
The respective leagues have put marketing dollars towards those ends.

Haven't they had Xmas gms the past few yrs. If anything, Netflix really wanted to show out. They are heavily investing in live entertainment

I believe last year they purposely scheduled games on Christmas as an experiment iirc. This year they went all out.

He’s not wrong. Especially when both of today’s games were lopsided and each NBA game has been great. Especially the LA/GS game.

While the games may have been better on the NBA side it’s just hard to care about the NBA until 2nd round or even conference finals or actual finals some years.. hell some years I’ve barely watched the finals
NBA is like baseball now where I only care situationally
Even if these weren’t great games.. they had legit stakes
