OFFICIAL NFLOFFSZN THREAD 2024-25: WHERE THE LOSERS DWELL

I wasn’t gonna hold raheems first HC job at Tampa against him wouldn’t be fair I wanted to give him a legit fair chance this season. That being said I don’t think he’s the guy. I can draw a line to all of our problems this season back to choices he made. Sticking with cousins too long after the wheels fell off down to him, the poor time management down to him, the consistent untimely penalty problems at the worst times that’s coaching that’s down to him, Penix not having chemistry with the first team and having a up and down game in his second start. Yea that’s on him too. Maybe the chemistry would’ve been better for Penix if he had more reps and this wasn’t his second start and you benched Kirk sooner like you should have or maybe even if you didn’t do that you could’ve played Penix in the pre season so he can get some live snaps but you decided that didn’t matter.

I’m not saying our season would be perfect if he did those things differently but he didn’t control everything he could control and make decisions with intent and urgency. I don’t trust him, sunk cost be damned that which must be done eventually should be done immediately. I hope we move on from him as soon as possible.

I can't lie. I was watching Penix last night and thinking to myself "I wish this wasn't his second start of the season". He should have pulled Kirk after that Minnesota game. Hell maybe during that game.

If JJ was in this year's draft, he'd be the 1st QB picked.

Wtbs, no the Vikes shouldn't trade him.
You want them to keep JJ? Instead of sign darnold to a long term deal? Man, JJ would have to be elite to justify that. Darnold should get a Trevor Lawrence type of deal already. Pay him his money. Bye bye JJ

But that would have been pre injury no?
His injury was a meniscus injury. It wasn't ACL, MCL, or PCL related so he should be good.

Vikes will have 70 plus million in cap so they could possibly keep both. I'm not a fan of paying Darnold 50 plus million though. I'd take him on a Baker type deal for sure.

Wtbs, if he wins a Superbowl then pay him whatever he wants

That’s all it takes man….

If they gave up 10 plays, we’d of lost 70-7. Dude is an idiot. 41-7, is still 41-7 :lol

3 years 100 or 90 Ms sounds right. Geno/Baker prove it deal. He’s still only 27 so, if he’s up again at 30, then he can really cash out.

Or 2 years, 60-65. All deals fully guaranteed

He’s a year removed from college and coming off an injury, doubt you can get a 1st or 2md for him

Wouldn’t trade him anyway cuz you never know when the wheels might fall off Darnold, gotta have a legit backup plan

Cam Ward going to the Titans.

If I’m Shadeur I’m hoping the Raiders or Giants draft me

I’m pretty sure hearing a convo between Micah and Jerry would leave me in a coma

If the rumors about dude from state and then the vid we saw of Jerry with Jaime foxx.. we know what them dudes would be talking about

Saints gonna purposely lose on Sunday and Panthers will play their best game since prime Cam

I don’t know man. There are a bunch of teams who need a qb. I think they can definitely get a team to give them a mid to late first. Saints, rams, raiders, titans. They would be fools to not think about it. I don’t think the Vikings were the only team to like him. I could be wrong.

Pretty cool :hat, gonna be real interesting to see what they do in the offseason.

So when does Wilson get a redemption tour next? Pretty clear what the problem was with the likes of Darnold and Geno :lol
