OFFICIAL NFLOFFSZN THREAD 2024-25: WHERE THE LOSERS DWELL

I don’t remember harbaugh specifically but I remember our units always being well run

Sirianni was a WR in college and then a WR coach.. I feel like with his philosophy he’d be a good high school guy, but if you exp3cted to be an offensive guy you gotta bring more to the table and everything good about the eagles gets outsourced elsewhere.. I presume the hope with him being a soft term OC with the colts is that he was significantly more involved with the structure of things be capable of actually stepping in and with his youth developing upon the scheme

But yea with Campbell I only remembered him being the interim coach and then things weren’t great with lions until new assistants stepped in and hit on multiple draft picks and obviously oline significantly developed

Like with eagles, I know they’d pay whatever to keep stoutland whoever the new HC would be and pretty sure they’d go offensive guy and let fangio run the defense

Things weren’t good his first year because they were rebuilding after the Matt Pratricia era and just made the change from Stanford to Goff. The only new assistant that “stepped in” was Johnson at coordinator, and he had been with the Lions since 2019 prior to Campbell arriving.

Yea I only really really paid attention to the offense really because of duce and him just leaving us.. but yeah him and Anthony Lynn weren’t great running the offense

I dont remember Sirianni's come up, tbh.

Campbell was a former player that did a solid job as Miami's interim, iirc.

Harbaugh too far back to remember specifics, but even then, those Eagles teams were mostly good.

Brian Schotty been around for years with no real HC opportunities that I remember. Not only that, stop after stop was underwhelming.

It took me to look it up, but I guess his stint with the Jets is the beacon of his resume? There before and to start the Rex era, but that team was all defense, so I guess having a rookie-contract QB having a modicum of success kept his career alive? I don't know. And that's after being QB coach for Brees/Rivers...everything after that sucked. Does anyone remember the 2012-2014 Rams? I sure as hell don't...not in this context, but Jeff Fisher, 7-9, something something. :lol

Yea when he was with the Jets he really benefited from a great Oline as well and had our running game as a top 3 unit iirc with Thomas Jones and Shonn Greene

Duce was one of the coaches my cousin liked working with the most. He brought her to Dawn Staley’s house last time yall were in the SB for her SB party. She’s a huge Eagles fan. He linked the two of them up.

When Detroit loses: Detroit are frauds

When Detroit coaches leave Detroit: Detroit will never recover from this

Assistant Quaterback coach JT Barret? Really?

You didn't even know he was on the staff until you read that tweet. Be real.

Speaking of that… shout out to Ronald Curry, the 757 LEGEND, who played QB and hooped at UNC and had a decent NFL career as receiver. Buffalo went from ken Dorsey to Joe Brady and now Ron Curry as QB coach. Getting the best results now. Salute 🫡 to Mr. Curry

I felt bad for duce but not really.. granted, he obviously is capable of doing the job sirianni is doing.. but I think for lurie those they were hoping to find another Andy Reid who could grow into the job and give him the resources to do so but ultimately he would be learning, which clearly ain’t happening since dude is more the raw raw type having to have his hand held with the X and Os stuff and actual offense

But Duce kept getting elevated and they had zero intent of giving him the actual job and I think he wanted more.. unlike say stoutland and even fangio were they’re happy in roles once they keep getting raises

From what my cousin said he took spot with the panthers to be closer to home I believe his mom was having some health issues and wanted to be near.
