Can you guys shed some light on how these fit?
That article says they were made in 1987 but the BW was made in 1992.. says so on the english page of air maxes but thats for the sarcastic and useless link...
Thanks a lot. This is the type of answer I've been waiting for. Im a huge fan of Tinker and him designing the shoe will add on too my liking of the shoe. I didn't ask if he was the designer for that too be my deal breaker or not but rather more knowledge of the shoe and Tinker.Yeah that wiki page is no good. Tinker designed the Air Max 1, 2, and 3, and the Big Window Classics here are the Air Max 4. They released in 1991 from what I remember and Tinker would have been designing the Jordan 6 for that same year, the first ACG Trainer, and I think quite a few big projects at once. It is weird that you can hardly find any information about the BW Classics (AM4), but there wasn't a lot of design change with the basics already in place from AM1-3. I'm thinking maybe a team of designers is credited for this model, but it was definitely created with input from Tinker and influenced by HIS previous designs. I know that doesn't help much, there just isn't any info out there and designers weren't front and center in '91 like they are at times today.

One reason why I saw sarcasm is because you said you found it on google with the dots... as if I also didnt look on google. Just felt that was a shot like I wasnt looking or something. The other reason why is because this is niketalk people are usually sarcastic all the time lol but sorry for that.Useless, I guess. Sarcastic, no. After spending minutes trying to find a concrete answer that article was the best I could find. I honestly didn't read it all. Just saw the part linking Tinker to the BW and posted. Not sure why you think I was being sarcastic.
I did see a article that mentioned he designed the first three AMs(AM1, AM Light, AM 90). Can be found on Sneakernews under the History of Air Max section.
Yeah after reading the I googled that part in my head a few times I see why you took it that way, my b. But I think it was a good question. I became more interested in knowing after I couldn't find any info. Like you said, whether he did or not wont be the deal breaker on coppin. But it's nice to have that tid bit of knowledge on the kicks. One reason why I saw sarcasm is because you said you found it on google with the dots... as if I also didnt look on google.
