the new 1mm tech pants from this fall/winter 2015 collection has blue drawstrings. the grey appears more solid like the 1.0 from last season.
the 2.0 is heather grey

i'm a size 32 (6', 175lbs) and picked up a L in the pants. they fit a lil too big on me so i went with M in the shorts. much better for me

I think he answered it perfectly. People like diff fit when it comes to clothes, especially the tech pants stuff. But go with your true gym shorts size, cause they are supposed to run a little snug/short for you to create that "look".

I may have missed this but are the nike venom tech fleece pants only a European release at the moment? And if so will they be released to North America or strictly a European exclusive?

There were some on NDC not too long ago, but they weren't the "White Label" pairs which differed slightly and were more expensive. The Venom pants on NDC were $70
