**OFFICIAL NIKE TECH FLEECE/TECH KNIT THREAD** - SEE FAQ on First Page

I copped my shorts from the Nike employee store. I was lucky enough to get an invite. So and extra 30% off retail price. Retail in Canada is $80.

tech fleece pants, jackets, shirt, shoes. whats next?!?
Got those Tech fleece shorts in black this weekend :Nthat  Im 5-9 and 230 and have big legs i bought a XXL for a baggy fit but could have fit in a XL. I need more!

pics on the fit?

The thin rubber on the pocket had been peeling off of my pair. Does anyone else have this problem?
Yup, started doing that recently on my 1.0. Not yet on my 2.0's and USOC Tech pants. But it's inevitable I think

I need the grey pair but in a large.... Anyone know how much these shrink after being washed and dried?

Not much at all. I've dried mine on high and got minimal shrinkage.
woah ... you dried it on high? thats pretty brave. I dont put anything in the dryer unless its socks, underwear, towels an **** clothes. Everything else is air dry. I got problems I know.

I'm the same damn way with my clothes, though I accidentally threw my black fleece pants in the dryer once. Now they look a bit faded compared to the new pair I just got from Proper.

My Sz L stretched out a bit so I wanted them to go back to the way they were. It didn't really work tho.

I seldom use the drier as well. Trust me. Not something I do on the regular. Most everything is air dried

Does anyone have any idea where to get the tech shorts (the fleece version or regular) in an actual store? Also, does the regular shorts run tts since they go by number, or fit small/big?

Yup I'm the same way too, when I do laundry I use every doorway as a clothes hanger, my roommate is pissed the days I do my laundry cause she has to duck into the hallway, bathroom and into the laundry room :lol

:lol that's what my apartment looks like on laundry days. I got a wife and kid so it hangs in every door way. Bathroom curtain rod and I also put up a temp rod in the hallway. I don't hang dry my sons stuff yet since he is still very small. I will soon though. Lol. Clothes last so much longer when they're hung and taken care for.

I hand wash my nice clothes in cold water and hang dry. Clothes over a year old still look brand new. Crap clothes and underwear/socks go in washer on delicate cycle, hang dry all except socks which I tumble dry.

I've learned my lesson ever since I've destroyed many of my dress shirts in the washer.

I still wash my dress shirts in the washer but put them On delicate then of course hang dry. My dress shirts rotation is huge so I'm not to fussed.

But to get back on topic here are some fit
Pics as someone requested.

View media item 904259In this pic the left leg looks short but it's not. I think the right leg with the utility/media pocket, zipper stiffness is not letting the material hang naturally like the left Leg. It does look very odd and just noticed it. Anyone else get this? Maybe it's because I bought a bigger size and went too baggy. Hmmmm...

I'm wearing it right on my waist not on my *** :lol

thanks, thats the XXL yes?

I don't have any of the pants, but with summer coming up, are these too hot you think to rock in hot summers

 Yes its XXL.

For the summer i think they will be too hot for those days where it feels like 30+ celsius or 85+ fahrenheit. I would probably rock them at nighttime drinking with the boys or any cool summer days. But I have to admit they feel so good i might not care and just suck it up

For those real hot days you need to be wearing this...

very light and comfortable, Its still cold here in Toronto so i haven't worn them yet but i would recommend the shorts in the link for more versatility.

So I saw a spot on the back of my wind runner and tried to get it out w/ water and a napkin, thinking it'll come off easily. When it wouldn't, I started scratching at it thinking that would do the trick. Bad move apparently because now I have what will eventually turn into a hole -_- I didn't realize this tech material is so sensitive. I've scratched harder on my other Nike gear w/out damaging them at all...

Send it back to Nike and get a voucher.

Really? Even if I've had the jacket for almost 6 months l0l? My tech pants have the same problem but I figured I've had them for so long that Nike wouldn't even consider it.

Without question! nike offers a two year warranty period. I would send both the jacket and the pants, get a voucher, and snag the new tech fleece coming in September.
