so the majority just copped regular TF shorts at $28.  now nike threw on some dots, and everyone is down to pay $80 again?   maybe i need to see these in person, they look decent but i dont know about $80 at least for me.

Yea i don't get it.  i just got my first 2 pairs of shorts and they're great, but they really shouldn't retail for more than $39.99 imo. 

the pants should be like $50 retail

the dots look super cheap in person. just saw them at Champs

The cut and length on them is different from reg TF as well

They also have two little pockets like the left pocket on reg TF, making them useless.

Gimmick gone bad.

FYI these http://m.nike.com/us/en_us/pd/tech-fleece-pants/pid-10232777/pgid-10084639 are th ASG tech fleece pants I received from eastbay. The price tags labeled them as asg tech fleece so it's not a mixup.
