Cool, thank you bro! I'll try it out later in the day, hopefully it works!Steam the whole upper front for 15 secs
If that isn't enough try an additional 15 sec
I say start with 15 secs because mine came a bit tight.

I know it was mentioned before but had no replies, so..
Anyone tried to remove the padding from their trainers? I don't like the padded fit on my black/whites.
I don't remember what page or who tried it, but they mentioned that there's a plastic piece under the padding that may cut into your achilles if the padding is removed. I wouldn't recommend trying to remove the padding.Someone mentioned that a few pages ago and he said he doesn't recommend it.I know it was mentioned before but had no replies, so..

I steamed my racers a few days ago, came out beautifully. Amazing fit.
Its just because we had two versions of it, so some prefer the nonpadded. At first I didnt care, but now i'll be lying if i said i didn't.people speak about the padding as if they've never worn padded sneakers/runners before.
just a heads up, probably 90% of the sneakers you've worn in your lifetime have been "padded."
let it go.

I'll take pics of my racers when I can.
For those interested in how I steamed them, I have a steam cleaner and let it heat up for 15-20 mins. Then, I simply sprayed the entire shoe. You can actually see the knit compacting, it's pretty cool.
But what i want to know is if makes the shoe look more flat and kind of like a banana shapeYes tighter fit
Like a glove

How much bigger were your racers compared to the tts fit. Mine were .5 size bigger and i got a pretty tight fit
There's a difference when you have pairs of the same shoe and some are un-padded and some are padded. Point blank, the padded versions don't fit or feel the same. It's bulkier. Now if the shoe originally came with padding and people are complaining, then yeah, your point is valid. But not in this case......people speak about the padding as if they've never worn padded sneakers/runners before.

Come on...lets be real. If that were the case go out and buy some Vans Authentics without the ankle padding for $40.I Agree 100%, I failed to mention that my electric greens were non padded and the fit was amazing. So I ordered the black/white in the same size, and it just feels different with the padding. Reason I got these shoes was because of the feel without all that extra "padding". Hence why I asked the question in the first place. But thanks to IRyebreadII and theMantonio for answering the question.
