Got my volt trainers from Finishline last week and I returned them yesterday.

The racers feel and look on foot so much better to me.

Racers all day

I'll be returning my size 10.5 volt trainer today to finishline. Too snug for me. I found a size 11 from Fleet Feet in LA. Phone ordered. If anyone else is interested, I'm sure they have other sizes left in the volt trainer. The number is (818) 986-8686. Shipping was $10.00.

thx man. just ordered a sz10 volt trainer. i want the racer but it was a no go.

Black/white is the most wearable colorway IMO. Still want the blue. Not fond of the volt colorway to be honest. Red is pretty nice too.

Got my Flyknit Trainer's in today...

Was out running & saw the running store posted here nearby, so purchased the Blue one's as well...:lol
Im normally a 12. Purchased an 11 in the volts. 10.5 in the Blues. The Blue ones fit perfect with no socks.

They feel great. This will be my go-to model for training/running. They are amazing.
Don't sleep.

Question:

What are the Flyknit models showcased on the first few pages? Just wondering. Thanks.

^ HTM version, initially most (including myself) people thought those were going to be team USA shoes in the Olympics this year when pics first surfaced.~

Where did you get your blues at? Store? #?

^ >: Every time I see the white/black pair; I get the urge to 8o for one.

When February comes around, I'm picking up almost every single CW :rollin .~

Black and whites came in from Finishline today. I think I like them better than my volts.

Did they release? Or were they just PE's? Grizzly, if browsing, your mixed color USA pair was a promo correct? StuntmanMike, any info? 8o

Also, I got the blue ones from here, but locally in -store:

Also, what's everyone's thoughts on the racer? Are they better for running? Can anyone share comparison thoughts? 8o

I normally engage in cardio/endurance running,etc.

Thanks for any information.
I love this post. Everyone helping one another! :Nthat

Are there any stores in NYC that sell the Volts and Black & Grey Fly-knit trainers besides NikeTown and Mercer St ?

I wasn't lucky enough to purchase them on Finishline.com . Thanks

Forward Motion Sports in Danville, CA has a bunch of Trainers and Racers in stock, (925) 820-9966.  Just picked up my Volt Racers today.  Looked like they currently have the Trainer in Grey, Volt and Orange.  Should have the Orange Racer in a few days or so.

I never thought I would say this because I was so in love with the volt colorway during the Olympics, but these orange racers are amazing and better than the trainers. The shape, the holes in the toebox, etc... I really love this shoe. Thanks, Finishline!

what's the deal with the blue/volt? where they limited or just havn't been sold anywhere but ndc?

i have a pair of the red/orange but the blue/volt are :smokin

I really need to get to a store and try these on. I don't want to purchase without knowing exactly what size I should get. So many great colors too.

I hate FNL even more than they cancelled my order.
DAMN YOU FINISHLINE!!!!!

I ordered a pair of orange trainers from FNL, they were "shipped" but the UPS tracking still says they haven't received them and only a shipping label was created. Been like that since Aug 31.

If you do a web search for Flyknit HTM ("round 1, round 2, etc), you can see the three colorways released in rounds 1 and 2 and the 6 in round 3.  There's a rumored 4th release, but it doesn't seem like anyone has received any info on dates or colors.  Round 3 only released at one store in the US (Nike Montalban in LA) to date and a handful globally, and 21 Mercer might be another store that may release, but it's looking doubtful as time progresses.

The IOA pairs are PEs made for the 4 independent Olympic athletes.

Hope this helps!

you should call FNL customer service and find out whats going on. Mine said the same thing but i checked yesterday and it said that it is In Transit and i should get it next week.

I bit the bullet and copped the Trainers. I hope I don't get the urge to cop the Racers now.

I hate to say it but you will.... I now have 1 racer (volt) and 4 trainers (volt x2, white/black (highly underrated), and orange/grey) and am looking for another pair of the racers.... Too much money. Started to sell some of my other shoes so I don't feel the hit as much. Oh well. I run in them so I feel like I get a lot of use out of them.
