Tried Spicebomb yesterday and not really a fan. Probably because im into more light scents and this was just too loud for me. My girl didnt approve of it either. Granted after a couple hours it mellowed a lil but the intial smell was just too much. Guess i'll be stickin with L'Homme

Prada Amber Intense for me... I love it, decent work scentPure Malt can be pulled off on super cool spring/summer nights.. It doesn't last long on my skin, but it does project like a beast for a good 4-5 hours.I have Tom Ford Oud Wood, Tobacco Vanille, and Noir de Noir coming in..Also, hopped on the Aventus "clone" Frescoe by llum Dean.. Won't be able to test it out for probably a couple week tho.

I love how midnight fantasy (the dark blue bottle) smells, its like a cherry/grape bomb that's sexy and classy. it doesn't come close to the original fantasy (most left), though. It's my absolute favorite!

 the powers of that juice right there.. I was hesitant to even mess with it, because L'homme completely fell out of favor with me..

Anyone tried Musc Ravageur? I want to believe the hype, I need a sample..

I haven't done too much out of the ordinary, body kouros, l'homme, mont blanc, GIT, Issey. But damn the reactions from aventus everytime I wear it out man, you get chose and blocked. I need to invest in a bottle.

good post. i'm looking to step it up and break the bank on a good date cologne. something with a wood scent maybe.

i currently rotate YSL L'Homme, Acqua Di Gio, and Polo Big Pony No. 2, but none are special occasion-specific.

Everyone has heard of Gautier Le Male and at some point worn it.. I, personally wouldn't touch it.. It last forever on most people's skin and everyone in an Arena can smell you.

Definitely believe the hype with Aventus, but i wouldn't buy from Creed, just hop on Amazon and a 4oz bottle can be had for less than $200.

Beats05- night out and woodsy, spells La Nuit de l'homme to me.. Just to keep it simple for you, you can try it anywhere cologne is sold just about.

If you haven't tried it before you should definitely try it out before buying its a investment go to neiman Marcus if you have one in your area, and get a sample. Aventus performance is spotty on a lot of people like myself but I still love it. During this winter I get no pineapple or smokiness, I just get kind of just a leather type of smell on my skin but on warmer days this stuff is amazing. Projection spotty on my skin maybe like 3-4hours of good projection but longevity maybe a good 8hours sometimes more. But if you do decide to buy pay attention to the batch number.

Thanks, I'll try La Nuit next time I hit up the mall. I'll be sure to walk into Nieman Marcus next time I'm near one too, so I can sample Aventus.
