We'll need Suzuki to play a few more games, just to demonstrate some production and have another team ready to offer something for him. I'm afraid we'll be stuck with Fuentes, though. Who needs a bad reliever?

Has anyone seen Miles Head play? Dude did work in Stockton and was just promoted to AA. I'm curious how his D is? I heard he's been playing 3rd? Any chance he can stay there at the major league level?

Nice to see Milone pitch well on the road and Cook rebound from Friday. Hopefully we can get more offense tomorrow. Let's get back to .500 guys.

Today's lineup:

Weeks - 2B
Hicks - 1B
Reddick - RF
Cespedes - CF
Inge - 3B
Smith - LF
Gomes - DH
Norris - C
Pennington - SS

I think this might be the first time this season that I don't dislike anyone in the lineup. I don't particularly like that we need Inge at 3rd, Penny at SS, and Hicks at 1st, but they aren't useless sacks of @!%# either. No Donaldson's, Coco's, Suzuki's, Sogard's, Rosales', Recker's (the list goes on).


If ONLY Sizemore didn't get hurt*, the lineup would be so good. It'd look something like this:

Rizzo 1B
Smith LF
Norris C
Sizemore 3B
Pennington SS

HOW SICK WOULD THAT BE, THOUGH????

I was watching top plays of the week on MLBN on Sunday night, and I saw Cardenas make a hell of a play in the field. I completely forgot about that guy, or the fact that we got rid of him.

Nearly midway through the season, I'm very happy with this team. All I asked for this season was for some exciting play, and a bunch of good storylines; that's exactly what we're getting. Nearly .500, never giving up during games, and a bunch of production from unusual places.

$$@*, just give us a stadium already!!! We could be great, Mr. Selig, I promise!!!!
