I love how these types of posters are lead adled Xers who think that if they trigger enough libs, they’ll magically be 18 again. It’ll never be 1980’s San Gabriel Valley though. San Dimas High School Football 1989, is stuck in 1989 and Trump can’t bring it back.
Americans born white/middle class post WWII, are not capable of aging gracefully.
On top of everything else, it’s not good that a rapidly aging population is perpetually mad that they aren’t adolescents any more.

It seems like he and Vivek are trying to use dog whistles about DEI to change the topic back to traditional racism in order to confuse MAG about what they wanted to begin with.
I don’t know if the more extreme right wing voices are still demonetized, but if you make the whole thing a example of an argument with the mods it’s pretty clear as we all know, that the mods will always win. Musk soft banned the loudest negative voices and then to get the discussion back on topic brought up something related to black people so MAGA can hate on a favorite topic. If MAGA has the low IQ’s Musk and Vivek said they have, then making the discussion about black people will completely appease them and they’ll ignore this topic of H1b for a few months until after they can get Trump to make the changes they want.
Anyhow at no point did it seem like the way that Musk, Vivek, and the other Tech Oligarchs exploit H1b visas for cheaper skilled labor was ever on the table to be interrupted. The only question right now is MAGA as stupid as Musk and Vivek think they are?

given how little public transit their is in america, and local NIMBYism, it would take forever for that money to get used and it would 3x more expensive than other countries.
EV subsidies are much easier to implement.

This article points out major issues killing the left's efforts to make the country better
-Lack of state capacity is a massive issue
-Voters don't reward things that have long term benefits
-Too many veto points in the system are crushing. I hate dude, but everyone should have support Manchin's permitting reform. Local level NIMBYISM is crushing.
-No matter how much good a Democrat does, there will be people and special interest groups on the left that will relentlessly attack the Dems for not going far enough. No matter the real world consequences of them doing so.
Now Trump has hundreds of billions to cause chaos.

The Democratic message, vote for us to prevent GOP chaos and ruin, only works when voters feel like they have something to lose.
I may disagree with them but I can understand why young people, who can’t afford to rent an apartment now, can’t start a family in the near term, and can’t see a decent long term future due to climate change, decided to go accelerationist and rug pull the Democrats, who have fully become known as the rich old people party.

I get that too, nobody buys them though outside upper middle class people in the burbs and cities anyways.
I feel like spending the money in cities that don’t reject public transit and some high speed rail would be much better spend.
The rural areas will never want public transit or EV anyways. Just bulk up what systems we already have and put some high speed rail in like Vegas to la that’s going on now.
Midwest is begging for a twin cities/milwaukee/Chicago line and would get used.
I don’t feel like the answer is more cars on the road only upper middle class will buy. If our tax dollars are going to it.
