It’s been that way ever since I was in elementary school. Being intelligent and well mannered is laughed at and “soft”, being abrasive, obnoxious, and cruel is entertaining and popular.
There’s no way in hell you can have a podcast, TV show, anything that promotes decent behavior and intelligence that will ever appeal to that demographic. It’s a lost cause.
