Instead of understanding that overcoming our current situation is going to require fighting on multiple fronts from a completely lopsided balance of power and influence and that the repubs have presented a golden opportunity to chip away at their iron clad perception amongst their supporters is something we should take advantage of as part of the overall strategy in the very earliest stages in our fight against dictatorship. And doing it using a tactic that just swept the govt for the right.
I suppose we could circle back to trans rights instead?

I’m not at all surprised she showed up to the presser with a religious symbol conveniently visible. Like I’ve always said, religion is just another tool to control the masses, and this is yet another example. Throughout history, this type of “religion and righteousness” has never been about compassion for people—it’s always been about enforcing submission until their beliefs are the only ones that matter. So yes, it goes with the slogan MAGA.

Hundreds and thousands of positions of people doing nothing and getting paid.
My friend makes close to six figures and he plays his Xbox in the middle of the day every day or he goes on long walks with his dogs.
My old co worker at the NIH went to Colombia unofficially without using PTO.
There are over 400 federal agencies and no one can even name 20 of them.
Yeah it sucks people have to get laid off but if you think the federal government isn’t over-bloated and inefficient then idk what to say.
And yes, I’ve worked for 2 federal so I know from experience.

So with him offering buyouts to federal employees it seems like he plans to come after everyone and not just the positions he intends to change to political appointees.
I don’t even know if this is a good deal or not. Cause in the DMV area you’d likely take a contractor job but that could even be eliminated soon after.
