i was plannin on purchasing the location free player until i saw the price of it.

Location-free player is great for PC's, too. A friend of mine has one at her house in Japan and watches JP cable tv live.

question:

is it possible to play mp3s that you have on you psp through the game music? like instead of ea sports tracks on madden, its basically just a playlist of songs that get rotated the same exact way the regular tracks do..

cuz on gta when you go to the audio section of the pause menu, it will show you all the radio stations and then there's a thing that says 'Custom Tracks - Unavailible' but it seems like you could be able to change it... anyone that has gta hop on it and you'll see what im talking bout..

so does anyone know if this is possible?

I dont have a PSP but i play my friends and i plyaed the world series of poker on it and that is one sick poker game, i reallly liked it.

But the reason i am here i want to ask some questions before i go out n blow as much as i would for the DMP on this....

1. Can you Transport Music from ur comp onto your PSP? if so how many songs about can u get?

2. Can u transport videos from ur comp onto your psp...,music vids? funny vids? pornos?? if so how many?

3. can u transport pics from ur comp to the psp.

4. can u go onto the internet on your psp? if so can you go to AIM? Can you go to online betting sites and place bets? such as bodog.com?

Any info is greatly appreciated. I have no clue about these but i kno that u guys love um n i want um

U could go online, it all depends on if u have a hotspot or somewhere where u could get online for free.
Not AIM yet, but u could get online with MSN with a Wipeout Pure.

The PSP is great but u do get tired of it sometimes, SONY needs to release some free programs for the psp. Calender, Alarm Clock, IM, Faster Internet, Simple desktop games, etc...

I got THUG 2 Remix....

I really like it....If you like all the other Tony Hawk games you'll like this one...

Whenever you get a psp just check for dead pixels..I went through 3 of them before I finally got one that was perfect...

That's about retail, no? $300 for the GigaPack, and $50 for each game.

Yea considering you can get the Gigapack on ebay for $320-$340. And those two games new are $50 each. You are saving $20-$40.

I have absolutely no knowledge with the psp, all i know is that i want one. I think the white one is dope and i was wondering if they are sold in stores as much as the black ones are. It seems that the white is more rare than the black. is this true? what are some good spots to find this white psp?

and also where is the best place to get the PSP package with everything games, movies, memory, etc...

Ive played my boys PSP and I envy them. January 15 is the day I pickup my PSP, I can't wait. Until than, im gonna rock out my gameboy advance and mario kart, :lol:

Kirch, the ceramic white PSP is a Japan-exclusive. There are no current plans to release it in the States. Your best bet is eBay, lik-sang.com, or amazon.com
It's about the same price, maybe a little more--but not because of the color--because it's imported.
BTW--the JP version does NOT play US region 1 UMD movies--which is no big deal to me. I would never spend money on a miniature dvd when I can just rip and convert.

I bought the gigapack, and IMHO, it was worth every single penny for me.

Battery life is not as bad as people say, at least to me. I watch a movie/tv shows, play game, and listen to MP3s during my commute/break, and I still have battery left.

My only complains are:
the volume not being high enough
games are too damn expensive

I'll stick to emulators for now.

I've only used the armor and health cheat, and so far the game hasn't been screwed up. I'm guessing the ending will be different, or something like that.

Didnt read the whole thread. But i am having problems with my headset for socom i can hear everyone perfect but they cant hear me. Anyone know how to fix this. I opened all ports to my router and everything,

I just got a PSP a few days ago and it was worth every penny.

So far I have:

Burnout Legends
Grand Theft Auto
Socom
Virtua Tennis
NBA 06

BTW, why would you want to downgrade from 2.0 to 1.5?

ive heard alot of good things about the white psp...there hasnt been alot of complaints about dead pixels...a problem that the US psp is still having trouble with..but im still not sure if im willing to spend 300+ on a white gigapack..

also..how many films could i fit on a 1gb card? all my movies are two 700mb dvd rips..would i be able to fit both parts on a 1gb and still have decent video/audio quality?

Ripped avi's tend to remain about the same size. That means two 700MB files will not fit on a 1GB card. :frown:

You need to download a file to enable custom tracks for GTA: Liberty City Stories.

Go here:

Click DOWNLOADS at the bottom of the screen for the file. There's also some PSP wallpapers on the site.
