They look okay to me. Suede looks nappy, laces both have the VV pattern, and the stripe doesn't end early. Now I don't know if the stripe is a for sure sign, but it's something I noticed between mine and the replica, as well as the pair you posted.

those Bluefields look sketchy... the mesh is popping up on the toebox on the real pairs and is not on that pair, I think they are fake but I could be wrong

They look good to me based on the real/fake comparison a few days back at the top of the page... the laces and the stripe match the good pair as compared above.

Super cheap compared to most sneakers, only issue with tracking pairs down is people actually wear them which makes finding DS pairs rare.

The only pair of R698's I have is similar to NB 996-999 sizing, half size down from Asics GL3/5.

Yes there will be a R698 Bluefield OG reissue, according to SneakerFreaker Germany they will be releasing in Germany, I really hope they make it to North America so I can avoid paying in Euro.
