Bro, fishing is the hardest thing in the game by FAR! I was in legendary trout territory, found his spot, and landed what I thought was the beast. Fought the line for about 15 minutes straight. My thumbs and wrist have strained ligaments now.

Finally haul him in...... it’s a 14 lb Muskie

No way in hell I’d have the time or energy to sift through all the other fish for just that ONE legendary. How the hell you supposed to get the whole list?!

I've caught the legendary sturgeon and the muskie and yeah those muskies are tough I hooked so many giant muskies before I actually got the right one

Should I just wait until I get better arrows or something? Saw a perfect elk that I chased for 5 minutes and wasted 6 hrs worth of dead eye to only shoot it in the back and it turn into a poor felt.

Will there be better bows later on in the game? I'm struggling trying to pull out binoculars and then scout and then reading the book on the animal and then the tracking system lasts like 10 seconds. For smaller game, Lately I've just been running them over with my horse.

Maybe I'm underestimating how weak arrows are and need that game riffle. Even then. My stalk and kill and creep game is terrible so I'm not a great first shot no matter the weapon

You can craft improved arrows.

Need flight feathers which you get from birds.

you will be able to craft deadlier arrows (but those might not be good for the meat, but if you just want the skins, they have poison arrows)
and small game arrows, you need flight feathers from any bird also you will need to acquire the crafting recipe
you can get these through missions I believe or buy the recipe pamphlet from a fence or trapper I think. They you have to open the recipe up and actually read to acquire the ability to craft the items
you just gotta make sure you read the compendium to know what is the best shot to take down that animal

When does auto save actually save stuff? The old games would show at the bottom or top of the screen.

I'm at a bad point right now. Out hunting a legendary wolf, I fall off a cliff. I revive my horse once. All fun and games until it happens again. Only option is to kill. What happens next? I gotta walk back 25 minutes? I only had one revive with me. Is he lost forever? I paused it immediately and reloaded and it basically paused my game where he's basically dead. Help. Basically paused here ready to kill my main horse.

but you can flag people down and ask for a ride if you're stranded without your horse

This happened to me like 5 times, you got to be careful driving those, I had to redo the pouring oil mission 4 times

So mad because I had got away from the guards got stuck on a rock & they blew me up

Also, I came upon a place where everyone was dead. Candles had burned out & bodies everywhere in the bed & someone was dead at the desk.

if you go there at night its spooky af. There's some green light that peaks through the cracks of the cabin and some weird music plays. Had my golden revolver out ready to blast any dead man that mightve popped outta nowhere.

When you wrap up things in Rhodes go back to the Brathwaite Mansion after a day or so and have a look around in the house

Just got to chapter 3 today. Don't have any patience for any of the side missions. I just ignore it and ride by or see what they about then dip. This one guy wanted to shoot bottles and was betting me money I beat him once then he wanted to double up i was like nah shot him and then robbed him and left lol.

Just finished Chapter 2 but more importantly, just got that White Arabian stallion.

She got so much get up, I can barely drive her, and I came from that preordered thoroughbred that ****s on every other horse I've encountered in the game.

Ran someone over just trying to get to the store when I got back to civilization.
