Dude you're taking this way too seriously.

I didn't attack you, or didn't knock you down for wanting to cop the shoes. I just pointing out that collecting shoes are not some way of life, it is just a hobby. There rare baseball cards, pokemon cards, stamps, that people collect. When the hell you hear some talking " I choose this stamp collecting life".

You spend your free time and disposable income on a certain activity, that's it.

i would advise going to try on the newest hyperdunk. that is the closest you will get to the fit of the X. i went .5 size up. i wear a 10 in jordans etc...i went to 10.5 same as the lebron 8 and 9 for me.

As much as I love to make Nike change its way in terms of pricing, boycotting this shoe as a community (nt) won't do anything. We are only a fraction of the all nike consumers. If we all boycott this shoe, there are still people outside this community who will buy.

This is somewhat of a three prong issue (Miller test) in regard to the marketing toward a specific demographic. In some cases, I do find it to be obscene, pornographic to a certain extent, due to the fact that wearing expensive Nike shoes, will help average Joe's garner attention, the possibly helping them to get laid. This is what these guys think, because this isn't about ballin' in the best stuff possible, this is about look at me and what I'm wearing. Many here also compare their kicks to luxury automobiles, with comments comparable to the guy that's going through a midlife crisis, then wanting to pick up the young hot chick in his new Lambo.

Quite obviously they've never read any Iceberg Slim.

Nike sees them as a mark, then goes along with their comparisons to luxury goods and not high quality performance footwear that's durable, then worthy of the price. Comments pro low quality goes toward the supposed performance of the shoe, even though many here only parrot what they read from others, those of whom may not be qualified to determine if these are actually doing, what they are supposed to be doing, especially while playing.  

But hey, I ain't mad at Nike, they are trying to run their business. If these guys are stupid enough to hand over their money, then hey, that only makes people like myself want to figure out what it is that I can sell to them, for the highest dollar allowed.

I now understand re sellers of Nike product, and I am not mad at them either.

My brother, as I agree with the point you are making, I think I disagree with people being "stupid enough" statement. Bringing in the luxury automobiles and people's state of minds, how many people criticize doctors or lawyers for owning a Ferrari or a Porsche? Let's step down a little with Mercedes or BMW? I rarely hear people complain that " that doctor shouldn't have bought the S class when he could have bought an Acura or an Infiniti and the maintanence wouldn't have been so bad"! You don't hear that because it's "understood" that those people can afford that kind of purchase and up keep of the vehicle(regardless to the amount of debut to income they are currently experiencing). At the end of the day and what I'm saying is; is that the end should justify the means for YOU. Only you(the credit bureaus) know your situation ad what decisions are best for you. Like someone else said, sparking debate is good for the conscious in so about being aware of your decisions, but at some point you have to know when you crossing the line from suggestion to enforcement. I understand your stand point, but understand theirs, this isn't their parents allowance(for most) they are working with. In the famous words of 2 Chainz "It's mine, I spend it"! LOL! The country my friend had been going down before now and it's been a slow rise back up. Every gained a lot of weight and tried to loose it quickly? Doesn't work out that well does it? It takes time and "good decisions". That was my point as I stated in the beginning. Who am I to say your decision is better/worse than mine. We are individuals and should think accordingly.
