** Official Rick Ross Thread "Rather You Than Me' Album March 17 2017 **

Solid album...

Picks up where 'Black Dollar' left off, IMO...

A few different features and about 2 tracks left off, and this would've been a great album...

Ross & John Legend = Undefeated
Ross & Cee-Lo = Undefeated
Ross & Nas = Undefeated

"Free Enterprise" couldn't be any more opulent...

Smile Mama, Smile. :eek :x :eek :eek :x :eek

Him and Cee-Lo make magic in the stu

Song made me want to call my moms and apologize for every bad grade I brought home on my report card... :lol

I listened to this in the gym, and this is a top 3 Rozay project. Deeper than Rap and Teflon don are the top 2 and I feel this is 3.

I gotta agree with this. This album is real good. I'm glad Ross left that trap lane it's overcrowded. This sound is Ross at his best. This **** is so smoove. I mess with everything except the Mariah song.

Silk Road :{ :hat

Crocodile Python :hat :hat

Carol City :x :x :hat

This is a good project, and I've never been the biggest Ross fan

anybody notice the shots he's sending towards 50? 8o one is on Dope **** and another is on Free Enterprise. guess he's ready to go bar for bar with him on a rapping level.

50 doesn't want that

I love NT man.

I really appreciate this new found maturity and depth in his music. Black Dollar & Market make all of his other music seem obsolete at this point.

Mmg byke. Renzel been saying since the whole co thing he work best when his back against the wall. We need pressure applied to that camp every year so I can get a joint like this.

Free enterprise was magnificent :hat

8/10. One of the best albums of the year.
Listened to foreclosed again, it's a clear shot at birdman on second listen

I hope Curtis respond on wax but apart of me is saying he's gonna do his IG fingers thing and try to be funny.

Its like the fat person that always joke and try to be funny to distract people from their weight, he distracting people from his terrible music.

This part here...

To the culture itself, these are powerful lessons
These _'s always smiled when I came around
They let you know my reputation when you in my town
A real _, you gonna know that by the contract
Bottom line blood, show me where them one’s at
That paper it get funny when publishing is involved
Mechanicals never mattered because that was your dog
Now you hands-on, but things don’t ever seem right
You make a call to give your lawyer the green-light
He look into it then hit you up with the bad news
It’s so familiar, he did the same with the last dudes

Always made me think he was talking about Birdman or the NWA situation cuz that movie was out at the time or just in general. But the "my reputation when you in my town" and "blood" it's clear he talking about what's going with CMB.

Was ready to write this album off after the first half of the album. Didnt like any of it

Then Black Opium came on. Album hit its stride in the 2nd half

This wayyy better than the **** albums he dropped last year. Easily

But il prob forget about this album by monday

This album is his best work in a long time. I think the fact that he didn't have any forced single or garbage *** MMG features helped the album feel more coherent. This is the first Ross album I've heard that I felt he completely respected the art.

When people say stuff like that I wonder if they've ever heard Deeper than Rap :lol

I hate to keep bringing it up but that was him at his zenith. Lyrics Flow Beats atmosphere etc ..that's his best album

Rozay SNAPPED on Free Enterprise LAWDDDDDD :x....

Why, WHY did he have to put this track on first? Every time I play the album I end up replaying that track over and over and over.

:x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x

Mastermind > Black Market

Haven't heard the album yet so I have no opinion on the comparison but I feel like Mastermind gets glazed over in discussions of his catalog.

Obviously music is subjective so people just might not have liked it, but I feel like it was a great album.

Especially with "Oyster Perpetual" thrown in somewhere :hat
