Its just frustrating, I know this team is improved, albeit how much is still up in the air, from last year and I just don't understand why they aren't coming together. Its puzzling and as frustrating as can be. This isn't the 08-09 team where we looked like crap and played like even crappier with a talentless roster. This squad we have here is a young and talented group that just needs to get their act together, and I hate to blame it on the coach; but I have no idea who else should shoulder this blame. And I hate blaming the coach because the last thing this team needs is coaching change to rumble things up, as seen with Musselhead, Theus/Knatt in the span of 3 years. It just doesn't work like that. Maybe Westphal just needs to switch up his style, gameplan, strategy, whatever it is, he needs to change up something ASAP to get these young guys going.

Why would Westphal leave Landry in even though he wasn't producing? Thompson has been playing at his best as of late.

Donte has to go. I'd say Cisco too but he can be a valuable sixth man. But Donte just doesn't produce consistently enough to be considered a core piece for this team. What we need is a player to right the ship when things go bad, someone who just takes command of the game.

The Kings are underachieving this season, but no way was I really thinking of making the playoffs. I guess I am one of the few fans that would want a team not to make the playoffs in order to get a good pick. I mean, we all know free agents don't want to sign with the Kings so all that cap space flexibility can go to waste if Petrie can't make a big trade. It's frustrating to have to grow like that when you see other teams just sign a big star and it's like day and night difference.
As for this season, the Kings need identity as a team. Run N Gun? Defense? Half Court Offense? Something.
