Thoughts if we do a deep run in playoffs and kyle puts jimmy in?
Zero percent chance that happens Kyle would be lambasted if it goes wrong.

Shoutout Brossilew.

Got that man on the ignore feature is serenity. I’m sure he’s sharing his thoughts and has changed his tune about firing Kyle Shanahan and burning it all down by now.

If I find out he’s behaving I’ll unblock his posts.

Lol at this guy

Leave me blocked so you can continue your insecurities lol

Burning it all down? Far from it.

I called for Purdy to start in Week 2 after Trey went down while you was loving it when Jimmy got the call over Brock LOL. But since got me blocked on some ol childish type stuff lol, you missed the receipt from way back in September showing me saying Purdy should start over your scared boy Jimmy G

Re: I guess if Kyle makes the decision to plug jimmy g in this post season we gotta put our faith in Kyle, and hope it pays off, and then evaluate how it went once it’s over
Disagree bro. The goal is to WIN THE SB, and not risk it with some stupid decision to put a mediocre QB in charge of a potentially all time great offense.

No effn way Jimmy plays another snap as a SF 49er. I'm willing to bet $500 right now Jimmy doesn't play another down this season as a 49er

Looks like i will be driving up to philly for the championship game ;)

Looks like i will be driving up to philly for the championship game

I don't know bout the Eagles bro, they peaked too early imo.

I can see Dallas or TB beating the Eagles in a playoff matchup tbqh.

NFC championship may well end up in Santa Clara as long as SF holds up their end of the bargain

I just dont want to fly put again like last nfc game. I was blacked out dead middle of LA lol

Me too lmao. My parents live 10 minutes from SoFi which was a saving grace. Those tailgates I go to end up getting me right before the game

But I’m strongly considering making a little playoff trip in a few weeks if thinks go as planned. I got a bunch of southwest credit from a few weeks back. My funds are tapped from the holidays, but where there’s a will there’s a way.

Trey ain't getting traded, nor should they trade him

Keeping Lance around will benefit Brock because Lance will challenge Purdy for the starting role much like Young kept Montana on his toes from '87-'92.

Lance has a lot of time to learn the game and what better way than to do it with Kyle and the 49ers.

Unless Purdy suddenly turns into Nathan Peterman overnight, he absolutely should go into next season as the starter.

As for Trey. I feel for him. Got the start week 5 against Arizona last year only to get hurt so they went back to Jimmy after the bye. If they didn’t win the MNF game against the Rams last season, Trey likely starts the following week in Jacksonville and keeps the job barring injury. Week 1 this season in monsoon like weather then getting hurt the following week.

But barring Purdy totally falling apart. Which I don’t see happening. Trying to push for Trey to be the starter largely because of what they invested in him is only setting him up for failure. If he doesn’t produce at a high level right away, the calls for Purdy are going to come fast and loud.

If Trey gets the job back and it happens organically that’s one thing. But where he was drafted shouldn’t have any influence on things if Purdy is outplaying him.

Trey would go into this years draft at 22 years old number 1 overall pick. This years draft is washed.

That being said a team will give up a 1st for him. He’s super talented. Just didn’t have the rhythmic flow and eyes/processing like Purdy had right away. So, we do need to get something for him.

In hindsight the Trey pick is looking like something they would love a redo on.

They had every reason to want to replace Jimmy for both performance and availability reasons. There’s no debating that.

But drafting a guy who was largely considered to be a project with a huge upside just wasn’t the best move for a team with win now talent.

If Trey beat out Jimmy in training camp in 2021, or even managed to make it interesting enough to justify going with Trey week 1. Perhaps things play out differently. But after two seasons and Trey still being a huge question mark. Things change quick when another young qb gets a shot and manages to thrive.

I thought the same, but I think Davis Webb is starting
Seriously lmao?

Dang it’s over. I had complete faith that Tyrod could pull it off but they throwing Webb in there? :smh:

I hope the Giants beat the Vikings so Philly can put a thrashing on them the round after that.

2019 Jimmy was a different guy. Calm feet quick delivery. Bonehead mistake here and now but better than anything we had in a long time.

Well we gotta get a W either way now, we think the Giants have any shot at an upset?

Think Bosa is 2.5 sacks off the franchise record. Hopefully we can get out to a healthy lead and rest the key pieces

Let’s get it fellas (you too, Giants)
