Somewhat random, but I miss Delanie Walker bros

I was always a fan and loved how versatile he was/is, but with hindsight being 20/20 I wish we kept him seeing how he is so much better than VD already

He had some critical drops I remember... But dude was able to do everything on the field

None of us thought Delanie would be the better one in the long run

Happy to see him succeed though, that Titans offense will be a problem when they sure up the oline

Delanie was good dude and just versatile as hell. He did have a few key drops, but I would much rather have kept him over VD.

I remeber he bought a bike (bicycle) from my boys shop in San Jose and would roll through every once in a while on his fixed gear

I was on record that I would've kept Delanie over Vernon. D-love had one bad season, but he literally did everything. ****, he even played special teams. Dude came back to play in the NFCC with a wired jaw. No way in hell Vernon would've ever done that.

Yeah thats what I'm sayin', it's not like he's Gronk or anything but goodness Vernon fell off so hard after being elite LITERALLY after that hit he took from Kam

I'll definitely always appreciate VD's incredible performances in those Harbaugh Playoff years though, no doubt

Just started reading best of rivals. It's goes in depth about the Montana vs young controversy. I lived through it but was too young to fully understand what was going on and why. I was split down the middle between the two and remember thinking why can't one just play a half and the other play the second half.

It also made it seem like that Walsh was more of a young guy and had all the talent but he couldn't just settle down in the first few years with the niners. Wanting to run because plays werent developing correctly or quick enough, overthrowing receivers and short hopping them...... Sounds just like kaeprrnick but not as bad lolol.

Would recommend for you guys to read. I just checked it out from the library today and already half way through.

D-Love Walker straight from Pomona always will be one of my favorite Niners. Dude is a ******* Baller and his physique was crazy.

When he redeemed himself with that GW TD catch vs the Lions and that Patriots game

D-Love. Hawk Inc., and Sopoaga always gets love from me.

More damning is hearing the commentary on that last drive marching down to Ravens red zone with Simms praising Kap on him looking off the defender to allow Crabtree to get open for the first down completion.

All these years later, whatever instances he may have done that in; he surely must have done by accident back then

This is a good example of a play with a look off built in. Kap knew he was going to Vernon before the ball was even snapped.

Any time I see a replay or a video of the game, I turn it off after Frankie G's long run to get us ~5yd line

If I'm not mistaken, VD was open on the final play if Kap didn't Kap and stare Crabby down from the start of the play

My bad for us having to relive all of this, all I wanted was to say how I missed Delanie and how he laid Jacoby the **** out on one kick return

Definitely locked on, but in my opinion rightfully so.. Vernon was/is-ish a freak, I'd go one on one to him right there as well

Kap got rid of that from the 40/Vernon got there in a flash
