McNabb, Mikell Doubtful For Sunday

Donovan McNabb did not participate in the Eagles mid-day practice on Friday, and head coach Andy Reid said afterwards that his status for Sunday's against Seattle remains up in the air. He's officially listed on the team's injury report at doubtful.

"He has had two good workouts but we're just not quite there," Reid said. "He's going to go do it again today and we'll see how it goes."

McNabb has now missed two full weeks of practice and last Sunday's game in New England after spraining his ankle Philadelphia's 17-7 win over Miami on Nov. 18.

"It's lateral mobility right now; his ability to push off right or left and make sure that he keeps himself in a safe position when he wants to," Reid said. "Until he has that he can't go out there."

In McNabb's stead, backup A.J. Feeley has played six quarters of efficient football. He took the reigns against Miami following McNabb's injury and nearly piloted Philadelphia to a win over undefeated New England.
Even though no decision has been made on whether or not McNabb will be under center, Seattle now has film on Feeley from each of the last two games to help them prepare. Reid said that is not something that concerns him, and that it should not concern Feeley either.

"I think the biggest hurdle for any quarterback is making sure that you study your offense, make sure that you are on the same page with your receivers and running backs," Reid said. "Then make sure that you understand the base fundamentals of what the defense is trying to do against you. You can't worry about all that other stuff."

Also listed as doubtful for Sunday's game is starting strong safety Quintin Mikell. Mikell sprained an MCL in the win over Miami and, like McNabb, did not play against the Patriots.

Backup J.R. Reed filled in admirably in Mikell's absence, and Reid said if Mikell is not available, Reed will again get the call.

McNabb and Mikell were the only Eagles to not participate in Friday's practice.

Defensive tackle Brodrick Bunkley has been slowed by a slight knee sprain and hamstring spasms, but he did take some snaps during the practices this week.

Running back Brian Westbrook, who had been suffering from some swelling in his knee, practiced Friday and will start Sunday. Westbrook was listed as probable along with wide receivers Kevin Curtis (limited participation/thigh) and Greg Lewis (full/chest) and cornerback William James (full/foot).

SEAHAWKS: ALEXANDER WILL PLAY

Running back Shaun Alexander has missed the past three games with a knee injury and a wrist injury, but he returned to practice this week and was listed on the injury report as probable for Sunday's game. The former NFL MVP has rushed for 492 yards (3.3 yards per carry) and two touchdowns.

The Seahawks will be without wide receiver D.J. Hackett who was ruled out earlier this week because of an ankle injury, but they also won't have the services of linebacker Will Herring who was declared out with a hamstring injury. Neither player practiced all week.

Defensive tackle Rocky Bernard (groin), safety Mike Green (knee) and linebacker Lofa Tatupu (oblique) were all listed as questionable, but all three had full participation in Friday's workout.

The following players were listed on the Seahawks injury report as probable: quarterback Matt Hasselbeck (hip), running back Maurice Morris (ankle), center Chris Spencer (shoulder), defensive end Darryl Tapp (shoulder) and defensive tackle Craig Terrill (illness). All had full participation on Friday.

This game is very crucial for the Eagles playoffs hopes. It's most likely that AJ Feeley will start again for the Eagles if McNabb cannot go.

SEAHAWKS: ALEXANDER WILL PLAY
It's a wrap for the Seahawks. Their only hopes for the rest of the year ride on this useless human getting knocked out of the game/for theseason.

3 game winning streak without Captain Trips n' Falls running the ball. If only the ******ed walrus with the playbook realized this.

Philly - 27, Seahawks - 17

I hope this game doesn't end up like the last time the 'Hawks came to the Linc, a 42-0 shutout in the snow on Monday night two years ago. Like I said, this is a very important game for the Eagles.

+!%@. Brodrick Bunkley and William Thomas are out of this game. Huge blow to the Eagles here. We have to watch Winston Justice again and Bunkley has been themain reason for our improvement in run defense.

This may be a good thing. I want McNabb back in 2008 to give him onemore shot. This will make fans realize that he is still the best option we have.
