:::OFFICIAL SNEAKER CARE/MAINTENANCE POST::: (It's back!)

dont use angelus for black suede dye your shoes will end up with a purplish tint to them. pics below are what i use to redye shoes. if youre going to use to wool dauber that it comes with yoy prob should tape the shoe off. the dye pens give you more control. good luck
Not always true about angelus dye, I've used the black and red dye plenty of times on multiple shoes and it's been fine for me every time. Feel free to use what ever you want though, but just wanted to put it out there that not everyone gets the same results.
anybody know how to reshine patent leather personally ? dont really want a video link , prefer somebody with prior experience , would be highly appreciated
The video tutorial is really the best thing to show you how to do it. It's not like we didn't use the methods in these vids and are just showing you because they say it works, we provide the vids because it's easier to teach than writing a long response. What they do in the vids generally does work or people wouldn't show it. I have tons of experience shining patent leather (really easy) and it's just so much simpler to show you a video on how to do it than writing a response. I just don't get why you don't prefer the video.

If you care to watch,

Sup dudes? I searched the thread for an answer, but I am looking to get a few opinions if possible. Out of these three, which would you say is the best suede cleaner available?

1) Lincoln EZ Suede Cleaner
2) Air Legends All Purpose Cleaner
3) Jason Markk Premium Shoe Cleaner

I am getting ready to do a deep cleaning on some of my older SBs and I'm just looking to get the best possible results. Thanks in advance for your time!
They'll all work. I personally prefer the bigger brands because they're generally cheaper (bigger production/wholesale) and they pretty much all do the same thing.

Lincoln EZ Cleaner is pretty cheap,

Cheapest place for a single bottle I've found is $8.10 here:

Idk what product I saw or how it was done but I do remember seeing something about fixing the cracked patent leather with some sort of plastic that's they used a paint brush to fill the crack in.... Idk remember anything but I saw it and it seemed like it worked.... I think it might have been painted and re glossed after the crack was filled and came out looking perfect will look for video/ product to help out guys

I wouldn't suggest painting a sole on that if you plan to wear them. It won't hold up well and won't look pretty
I disagree. Apparently now there are a few restorers selling sole paint sealer/sealant that's supposed to be scratch resistant.  It'd be dope if the NT community could figure out exactly what it is they're using...I mean unless everyone wants to pay $25-$30 for a small bottle from this dude.

I was thinking like everyone figured out the secret to "sole sauce" maybe we could come up with the secret to this stuff and save us all $$$.

Has anyone used their sole sauce? How well does it do? Or is it basically the same stuff as everybody else.

I hear it's good, but many people in this thread have already said salon care 40 ($2.99 at Sallys) + Oxyclean ($3.99)= THE SAME RESULT.

Personally I'd rather spend the $7 to have multiple bottles worth instead of the $20-$30 after shipping these sites will charge.

No problem..heres 1 done so far xi PL redone

So, i got this Lebron X from my cousin from Singapore. When i saw it, i was excited but then i looked at the sole of the shoe and one has a bump. i don't know what happened with this shoe because my cousin used it before he shipped it to us here in the Philippines. I tried pushing it, nothing happens. i used it once on court then i noticed its getting bigger. i don't know what happened. i did not step on a rock or anything, just the hard court. If you know how to fix this please tell, because i can't use the warranty cuz it was bought from singapore. i do not have the receipt. This is a good shoe for me. Nice colorway. I do not want it to go to waste. Thanks in advance =)

If production date is within two years, send it to Nike asap. They will warranty it and give you a voucher

there are two dates.

when you call their rep they will ask you for the upc code on it anyway. sometimes they will let you return them even if it is outside the two year period.

thats a factory REJECT brah,,,return it to Nike gee

It's not a reject, it blew it after wear, wasn't bought that way. Production date is past two years, unlikely Nike will honor warranty

What's the best way the Clean Black marks on the White Sole of some

Air Max Griffey 1 Safari's

^^^^^^^^

I tried Jason marks… no go

I tried a Kiwi Eraser like for Suede n stuff = IT help and cleaned up alot of spots but still some are still visible and I don't wanna rub off the White Paint on the sole...

Any Thoughts NT'ers

magic eraser is sure to take off the midsole paint if not used extremely lightly. it works great on white hard rubber midsoles like jordan 1, air forces and adidas shell toes, but it wreaked havoc on my painted midsoles. just a word of warning.

These Griffey's are Mid sole painted White… if you rub hard it's take the white off n show the dull white rubber/foam part

looks bad

gotta be a better solution to keeping these Griffey's Clean!

Anyone put suede/nubuck protector on the sport blue 3's Tongue & ankle area? And what brand. Results? I've only put it on my bred 4's. Does it make the jean bleeding come off with ease?
