Official Soccer Jersey Thread

this would be the only other one that could possibly help. Im more so curious to know if the authentic tag is correct

Its probably authentic. Most fakes are either 1. A rare shirt or 2. the current shirt, and most of them have a players N&N. Also, that kit was very easy to get for a long time after it was out of use. If it were the same kit but the 125th anniversary edition it might be fake but looking at it I would be fairly confident that it is authentic.

Speaking of which, was the gold/maroon (pictured above) 125th anniv jersey released to the public? I know they used it as a third shirt/CL kit in 2011-12 and Have been on the lookout for a replica version (as in not the authentic player issue on field version, NOT a fake)... Any ideas where to buy IF they were released? Judging by your post I assume they were VERY limited?

thank you prettyboy RY7 and hoosiergunner for the responses. I wish i was more knowledgeable about where to acquire soccer jerseys before so i wouldnt have to be looking in sketchy places for these. Any idea of what years nike used that authentic tag? im still trying to get these down so i can be efficient in searching through ebay and other markets.

I love classicfootballshirts, its just tough to use them as a reference as far as nike authentic tags go since the pictures arent big enough to get a clear view of them and study them.

to my knowledge,on the tag, right under where it says authentic, a fake one will have a solid stripe, while a real one will have words or something in it
I don't know exactly what's supposed to be in it, but that's what I've heard
and from the looks of that pic it isn't a solid stripe, which would mean it's authentic
hopefully it's all true :lol

I think what you mean is that silver strip underneath "AUTHENTIC".... fakes will just embroider a silver line, but the real deal has this like reflective silver strip sewn in and if you look really closely, you'll see words.  It's barely legible since it's so small, but I think it says something like "To every footballer in the world [Nike swoosh]".  I've looked at it before to try to figure it out.

If you were to see a fake and then an authentic, you'd know what I mean...

Yea i noticed that as well, i remember reading about the words in the silver strip i believe when jersey central or whatever it was called before was around, and its consistent among the nike jerseys, the only other thing that im trying to get down is when and what type of the strips where used for certain years, for example a 2010 barca shirt i have, the strip is made of squares, with the words being visible. Than i see one like the arsenal away i posted that is more just solid strip. Gonna keep digging, appreciate all the help.

Has anyone had the opportunity to either buy or actually see the AC Milan third kit in person? Really want it put idk if the kit is worth 90+ or wait for the end of the season sale.

:hat

Ibra is my dude. Great pickup.

How much dit it set you back once it was all said and done? Shipping, fees, conversion rate?

I was in Paris last year and stopped by the team store but couldn't justify the purchase at the time. Would've been too expensive after the conversion rate.

Thanks bro. It was pretty pricey ((About $160 including shipping), but the PSG kits are my favorite from this season, so it was definitely worth it for me.
