Yeah, I'm not too worried though. I stopped focusing on the trading aspect and pivoted to buy-and-hold-forever. As long as Intel keeps paying dividends, I'll keep my shares.

Apple though. Those mfers better do something good next week.

I'm kinda the same way. A good percentage of my portfolio is going to high-yield div stocks/ETFs.

I keep some play money on the side for gambles to keep things exciting.

i bought nintendo stock around 30 its around 37 right now

should i keep holding on or flip?
Japanese version comes out tomorrow

That should up it some right

I'd imagine that it's already priced in

So I am new to all of this.

What do you look for?

New releases? Movies, video games, shoes? Consumer goods that will probably help a company's outlook?

Just spill the beans.

I come in peace

Anything that's been announced (news, products, acquisitions, etc) is usually priced into the stock. So say PokeGo comes out tomorrow and performs as expected, the stock wont change much. If it blows tf up like it did here, the stock might rise. Cant say for sure, there's always a lot that plays into a move.

So, like Based said, the expected performance of Pokemon Go has been accounted for and the Nintendo stock reflects this currently. The demand might change tomorrow/Friday/next week, for better or worse. This is just a vacuum case, since every company is different.

Good ideas = good businesses with:

Good management teams

Strong free cash flows

Decent valuations

Strong competitive positioning

Good dividend yield (optional)

Just sold out of my AAL puts for +$200 after being down $400 at the close yesterday. Was planning on selling today regardless of what happens since they're reporting tomorrow morning, and I'm not about that action. Shout out to Southwest for the miss :hat

Edit: could've made another +$200 if I just waited another 10 minutes :|

Going long on AMD.

Should've racked up when they were around $2 dollars but I slept.

But with their chips in both Sony & Microsoft's consoles and mid generation refreshes, their profits should explode, with the coming wave of virtual reality innovation.

Plus their new CEO Lisa Su is the anti-Marissa Mayer. Love her leadership qualities.

AMD SMASHED all estimates!!!!! :smokin :smokin :smokin

I'm riding this *** into the sunset.

They have the VR chip game on lock for at least the next 5-7 years.

Doesn't matter who wins the console war, AMD wins either way.

^ How good does it feel when your thesis is correct and the markets reward you for it?
