yeah man, the 8 has a higher secondary market value than larger sizes...

Yesterday an ebay reseller had a FSR (roughly) for red highs for $350 with a Note to "message him for $30 off" and in the time it took me to send the message son had sold his 8 and 8.5. SMH.

Is Obey older than supreme?

The original Andre the Giant has a Posse sticker dates back to 89, I'm not really sure when the line changed into OBEY with clothes and all the other derivative prints.

Just did a bit of googling, the clothing line started in 2001. So while the concept was being fleshed out between 89-01, Supreme started putting out product in 1994.

I'd gladly give that for my size 8. SMH.

Thats weird. My size (13) you can easily pick up in the low 3s
I've been looking for my man B cuz he's so fresco and I can't believe the prices people are asking. They're not getting it, yet they continue to ask. When I PM for a lowered price, they speak to me like I'm a mongoloid.

I always use the eBay fee calculator to find out how much they will take out for fees. Then I message the seller and tell them to give me that price outside of eBay through a PayPal invoice. It's the same amount they'd get anyway. Of course, some sellers are slow and decline that offer.

Why would someone take an offer outside of ebay for the same final price?

I would rather pay $100 in ebay fees knowing they'll cover my *** than give someone hand over the $100 as a price break

Gotta compromise. Don't expect more than 5% off asking price and both parties benefit.

Edit, I get what you're saying.

Because eBay protection is just PayPal protection. If you do an invoice through PayPal and set everything up correctly, you're no more protected going directly through eBay.

not true

there are plenty of buyers on ebay who are not paypal verified

selling to these buyers through the ebay portal provides you with the level of protection you would get from a verified buyer.

Ebay will let me ship anywhere, but paypal wants a confirmed address to protect me at the same level.

My point was:

I'm selling shoes for $100 & you offer me $90

what is my incentive to accept your offer?

I can't find on eBay anywhere that it says you are protected (as a seller) by anything but PayPal seller protection. So if you can provide proof of what you're saying, I'll gladly believe you, but as I've been using eBay since 2004 and have never heard of anything like that, I am skeptical. eBay purchased PayPal, so they are the same company. Whatever "protection" eBay may offer is likely just PayPal anyways.

Anyways, the only incentive as a seller to accept a PayPal invoice offer is if you get more money for your product. IE You have a BIN of $500 and dude offers you $475 through PP invoice. Well, you just got $25 more than you would have going through eBay. Again, if the protection level is the same (I only sell to verified addresses regardless) then the incentive is more money with no deterrent (lack of protection, like you claim). Even if what you are saying is true, I don't really ship to unverified addresses, anyways. This is 2014. If you don't have a verified PayPal address, don't online shop with individual sellers. I don't want to sell to them, at the very least.
