^ Was just about to ask the same. I think someone posted a while back saying it remembers your device the same way it would save shipping info, and then give you the option to pay with store credit during the checkout

Nah, its based on the email you input for your orders. Once it starts to process checkout (on a new purchase using the same email) a box pops up asking if you would like to use the store credit towards that purchase. You can then choose to add it or not.
