Official TMNT thread, R.I.P to the OG Master Splinter

I still need to read the TMNT/Ghostbusters comic. But since I am also a big Ghostbusters fan, I may end up getting these too. They look hilarious LOL

How prevalent are the bootleg version of the arcade pack from last year? I see the prices range varies so much.

They are definitely all over on eBay. You just have to do your research and make sure the seller is legit and provides as much information on the purchase of the set.

Check out Technodrome Forums, too. There may be some folks selling the set for a decent price.

I always stay away from anything that is shipped from asian. Mostly likely knock off, personal photos are best so ask the seller to send you a photo with date and seller name.

People on the Turtle Forums were talking about a rumor where NECA was planning on releasing a 12-inch version of these figures in the future. If so, I may just sell of the set and get those to save some space lol.

Those 1/4 figures really that big? Are they anything like the Marvel icons that came out many years ago?

Yeah, they were bigger than I expected and heavy too. But worth the money, since the detailing and articulation of them are great.

Got an email that my SDCC was delivered to the front office. Going to pick it up when I get off work.

Totally get the logic but since I don't really have anything of TMNT this size I love it especially at the price point. I paid nearly the same for MONDO and I believe they are between 10/12 inch.

yeah, you wouldn't realize how big the 1/4th scale is til you try to look for room to display them lol

the details though, it's crazy for the price, hell I was watching some vids recently and didn't even know that you can put hands that move horizontally or vertically depending on how you want to pose them, maybe I am just not into figures like these but damn that is impressive

so are they going to reveal Shredder during SDCC or they're just going to dangle that sign to be a tease?

At this point, idk if I'd want a 1/6 scale set of these. They would be easier to display, but the 1/4 figures will look impressive as a set.

This has been a crazy month for me, copped and was also given a lot of toys lol

Found Usagi Yojimbo Vol. 8 and 9 off ebay with Stan Sakai sig for pretty much retail need to find out if it's legit tho. Lol

Well, I got my SDCC set and am very happy with it. Unfortunately, upon opening, I immediately noticed the hook on the turtle grapple was broken.

I emailed NECA to see if they tips to repair or replace it. We'll see what they say.

hey guys new to this thread but I'm thinking of buying the 90s raphael neca figure. for those who have them, are they worth it?
