i went to tokyo in july once. never again. that was miserable. too hot and humid for me and i live in hawaii. best part of that trip was going to a restaurant in the mountains and during the meal, they turned off the lights and the trees filled with fireflies.

I need to visit Japan at least once in my lifetime. I'm just dreading the flight.

restaurant's name is ukai toriysma. about an hour from shinjuku station. very scenic area. super nice in the winter.

we were eating dinner and then they cut the lights out and played this weird music. i was like wtf?! everyone ventured outside and then slowly the air lit up with fireflies. it was a great experience - i guess only in firefly season whenever that is (it was summer when i saw it). food was excellent too.

Let me know which photo you want to know about and ill get into it with details...too much to type.

flatfoot718 flatfoot718 Bro how were the Bape and Sup stores out there? I always see photos of people lining up in the pics so does that mean inventory is usually pretty bleek if I just wanna pop in without the line up?

Did u pay sales tax on the stuff you copped?

Any suggestions for restaurants or excursions? My girl and I will be in Tokyo, Kyoto, and Hiroshima. We are in Tokyo the longest so I am hoping to do most of my ill **** there.

Bape stores are dope! Went to the one in harajuku and shinjuku. Employees are humble as fkkkkkkk..prices are def lower. A hoody is about 250-280...tees are around 50usd.

I went to supreme store in shinjuku, harajuku and Osaka...stores are dope and unique in their own ways with their decorations. I went during the Morrison tee was dropping and lines were deep but very organized and friendly. Release day is the same as anywhere else...can't just walk in for a peek...gotta get online.
Prices are higher in Japan. Tees are around $65usd. Tees always goes first but they have a pretty good amount of items...I'm not a huge fan of preme so I only went in for a look. I was tempted with some hoodys but I passed..

I suggest checking out the NBHD store in harajuku which is right below the supreme store. Basically, brands based in Japan is cheaper. I got NBHD tee for $40usd and Visvim ftb for $$425usd I believe...

No sales tax if I recall.

Excursions? Just visit the shrines, temples, markets, shopping areas. So easy to navigate around Japan...especially if you have the jr pass.

Let me know exactly what it trying to do and I'll help you the best I can...I know every single ramen shop is amazing so you won't have to worry bout food lol

Preciate that fam.... Gonna hit Bape heavy.... All my friends and fam have hit me up for Bape and CDG pieces so I am bringing at least an extra bag just for their stuff.

I would really like to take my girl to an upscale restaurant at least for one night in Tokyo.... Other than that we will probably eat mad Ramen etc.

Is that famous fish market really worth the trip?

Any suggestions on where to kick it at night?

If there were 3 MUST see things to do or see in Tokyo what would you say they are?

Arrived yesterday Jet lag is a *****... Its only 1AM here now and I'm feeling like its 10 smh

10 days until I am out there!

I am so thankful that my girl lived there for so long, because she knows the ins and outs of the city and has a huge itinerary planned.

@FLATFOOT718  nice pics!

Keep an eye out on that Bape store & cdg my man

Back on Wednesday flatfoot718 flatfoot718 has not exaggerated Japan is dope as hell... Picked up a lot of Bape and CDG at great prices. Sneaker/ Sup shopping was :x so I passed on those..

Food is great. Temples are awesome and Travel is super easy... Would surely come back again if given the opportunity.

I can say for those visiting bring a comfortable shoe and hoody for evenings. My girl refused to bring a hoody and there were plenty of nights where the weather dropped to 50 or :{

We walked/ caught the metro everywhere so be prepared to get those steps in.
