Got my authentic pair from the TS drop from his birthday, had a homie that got a fake pair (for educational purposes).

Had to do the comparison.. here are a lot of pics.

In summary (what to look for in fakes)

• Embossed TS logo in the back is way more defined on authentics
• Outside swoosh placement with the 90degree stitching is off on fakes, stitching is usually farther away from the swoosh on fakes
• Wings logo is noticeably smaller on the fakes
• Yellow midsole a different shade on the fakes
• fakes come with white laces instead of creamier laces
• fake boxes come with $160 price tag

Everything else is pretty damn close.. i didn't even bother taking pics of the size tags.. my bad.

The distance between the reversed swoosh and stitching varies among retail pairs as well. Depends on the size.

The embossing on the back is a good tell tale sign to go by though.

i think snkrs pass was ok in Atlanta but in nyc its horrible. like slots fill before its even live lmao, im pretty sure the same group of people always win.

im sure Atlanta was botted but we had the advantage of a lot of people not knowing how it works. in NYC they veterans and have tried to exploit every possible way.

Thanks for the comparison pics. I’ve seen fakes which are practically the same as the authentic pair. I guess it all depends where you bake replicas because some are 1:1 down to every detail.

yea...them fakes too close for comfort. Outside of the embossing I wouldn't be able to really tell if it's not in hand for a comparison. Plus I hate going by stitching because those type of things tend to change depending upon shoe size. On top of that what's stopping someone from taking some type of pen to that emblem in the back and making it more defined? Scammers gunna be cracking head's wide open with these.
