Soccer NEEDS to implement very harsh flopping/faking rules and ENFORCE them. It's getting way out of hand.

Glad US is playing well @ home. First Jozy now EJ @ his home pitch! We better not let late scores occur...

perfect through ball!!! on the "USA aint nothing to ____ with" chant at the home depot center there was a mobb coming chanting it and the Honduras croud says in spanish . we better move outta their way . they were shook

Demarcus Methuselah Beasley, has been playing professional soccer since he was like 16 and he still can't use his right foot :{
That goal was an easy score if he use his right instead of left.

Josmer with the solid showing :smokin

Jozy and Bradley are just further proof that US players won't amount to anything unless they leave the MLS and go play in Europe. MLS style of play is just garbage tactically and players don't develop at all. One year at Roma has already done wonders for Bradley.

:lol :hat @ the USA aint nothing to **** with chant
I was under the influence of a few substances at a party in the countryside outside of London over the weekend and it was a costume party, I dressed up as a US soccer player and I tried endlessly to start "USA ain't nothing to **** with" chants :lol apparently I was a little bit successfully with some of the Brits here with American ties :lol

I watched a little bit of that game again & Omar didn't play well again. Panama's Tejada had that late shot attempt Howard was able to save. :{

For every good play he has, he does 3 bone headed things...

MLS is slowly transitioning from a retirement league to a farm league.

Guadalajara recently just sucked what few decent players Chivas USA had down to Mexico and replaced them with hot basura.  If Chivas USA ownership actually invested in the team they could be the Bilbao of the MLS.

With Yankee/Man City NYCFC team coming soon, I predict they will be a US based farm team for Man City.

MLS needs to make some strides in making it a league that can stand on its own.  I think though Don Garber plays a roll, the teams themselves have to perform at a level where they can get respect from fans domestically and from clubs internationally.

Though many say there are tons of systemic and infrastructural things that need to be done before this, I think the MLS should figure out how to establish promotion and relegation.  That is truly the only thing that will light a fire under many teams butts IMO.  Perhaps they could buy or absorb NASL and USL Pro to make a second and third tier.  The only other way would be for the MLS to set up it's own second and third tiers and lure talent from NASL and USL over to MLS 2 &3 as the contracts are owned by the league and not the teams.

We won't see Pro/Rel for at least 20-30 yrs imo...the MLS clubs have sound ownership groups but I don't think those NASL/USL teams (maybe Orlando City since they're trying to get into MLS) can sustain the resources required to compete, plus their stadiums aren't near the level of the SSS in use, and Americans aren't that familiar with the concept by and large :lol. The league's made tremendous progress though (Its only 17 yrs old) and they're putting more emphasis on youth development and academies which is great to see, I think in the next 10 yrs we'll see the league grow even further...even if they can get the salary cap up to like 8-10million the teams would be able to do so much more. Still pissed they gave the WC to friggin Qatar :{ Having another WC here in 2022 would've been a tremendous boost for the league just by association

But Jozy and Bradley did begin in MLS and went over at young ages, and in Jozy's case brought in a massive transfer for the league... in like 10 yrs though the next crop of youngsters coming through the ranks will still be sold and hopefully for higher prices so that money can get reinvested into the clubs. MLS should strive to be a feeder league for the top leagues in Europe, that's not necessarily a bad thing either though
