nah, i'm from buffalo. it's about a 8 hour haul to dc, but i'll be def going on a road trip this summer to see the stadium.
only time i get to see the nats live is when they play the pirates or in toronto when they play the jays. best believe if i lived in dc i would have seasontickets.

WASHINGTON (AP)-First baseman Nick Johnson and second baseman Ronnie Belliard were picked by manager Manny Acta to start for the Washington Nationals.
Johnson had been competing with Dmitri Young during spring training for the first base job. Johnson missed the 2007 season with a broken leg.
Belliard was in competition with Felipe Lopez.
Johnson and Belliard will be in the lineup for Washington's first regular-season game, Sunday night against the Atlanta Braves at the new Nationals Park.
Acta said Johnson is "back to where he was two years ago."

the nationals are a franchise on the rise. here's a brief biography on how/why i became a expos/nationals fan, vlad was my favorite player wayback when, so i became a spos fan, and i've been a die hard fan ever since.

Being from Baltimore it's tough for me to compare other stadiums. I honestly think that Camden Yards set the bar for all other stadiums. There's a lotof nice things about the stadium but nothing really stands out. I'll def have to see what it's like during the summer. I'm not saying it's abad stadium but I'll take Camden Yards over it anyday...

Teets....u hit the nail on the head...Camden Yards set the precedent for ALL modern stadiums that you see today. I turned down tickets for tonights game, butfrom all the pictures that I have seen, there is nothing that really blows me away aesthetically about the new stadium for the Nats. Of course anything is anupgrade over what they had to play in at RFK, but all this stadium represents is gentrification, and the "new" DC that Fenty envisions.
