A 20-year old man was arrested last Friday after a police investigation revealed he threatened to rape a 15-year-old girl and her 6-year-old sister.

Joshua R. Stetar of Saratonga Springs, New York, met the older sister back in 2006 while playing Halo 2. Over the following days, the man sent gift packages and flowers to girls' home, all of which her parents returned. The 15-year-old girl also received several text messages on her cell phone, forcing the victim's mother to change her daughter's number. However, Stetar was able to get the new number from a friend of the girl. Timesunion.com reports:

Last week, the 6'2'' 130-pound man from Washington County drove across the country in his 1996 Oldsmobile. About 9:30 p.m. Friday, he sent a message to the 15-year-old saying that he was in a vehicle in front of her house, police said.

Six minutes later, police say, he sent the rape threat.

The girl's parents spotted Stetar in his vehicle and called police. Officers traced the vehicle back to an Econo Lodge, and arrested Stetar there.

Stetar now faces up to five years in prison if convicted of stalking in Spokane.

this dude lived like 5 minutes from me no lie... weird freaking kid, i know both of his brothers (who arent anything like him).... i used to see thisdude in high school and he would like air claw and make a hiss noise or some shhh at people goin by, really cant say im surprised by this happening but fromwhat i know he wouldnt have actually raped anyone... thats just the looney toon in him talking

i rented it a while ago and i hated it. i returned it after a few hours of playing for store credit. its a lot different than any shooter game. you shouldrent it first then if you like it, cop it

based on the reviews and the way people was talkin about it, i thought it was gonna be another halo. the game was way too cartoony for my liking

Yeah, I called them back and they offered me a free game. Of course the choices were all old, ****ty launch games. Honestly, the only thing they could do to appease me at this point is give me a free wireless adapter, or Rock Band. Even a $60 game isnt worth this !%#%. Sorry to say I won't be playing Halo anymore, but at least i'll be playing something.

I'm surprised they didn't offer you a new Elite unit right on the spot. You need to get some publicity on this one. Maybe post it on a blog, then get it up on Digg to get Microsoft's attention. That's brutal. I probably would have been rocking a PS3 after conking out on the 3rd time. I know of people that have sent it in or gone through 2-3 units, but wow, 5 times...

Yeah, what I'd do is call them back, ask for a manager and demand a brand new system.

Actually, demand one that has the new Falcon board in it.
