Classic Halo ain’t coming back. These kids today don’t want it and it ain’t enough old heads that’s going to support it the way MS wants them too.

I don't like Halo Infinite but nothing will ever be worse than Halo 4. I'm confident they couldn't cook up something worse than just the mechanic of Armor Lock alone.
Halo 3 is imo the greatest game ever made but Reach was trash, Halo 4 was a complete abomination, Halo 5 was only marginally less trash and Halo Infinite is at least a step back in the right direction.

I used to think Halo 4 was bad until I played Infinite.

The one main aspect of Halo has been the feel of the gameplay and movement. Strafing in Infinite is the worst out of all the Halo games... by far. The strafing side to side is to fast or off or something compared to the other Halo games and it causes you to lose gunfight.

If you played GTA since GTA3 and played Vice City and San Andreas it felt like a GTA game as far as the driving mechanics. Then they dropped GTA4 and completely changed the driving mechanics which as a core feature to the gameplay. I equate that with Halo as the core mechanics of gunfights were off like stafing and the change was not needed.

Yes, Reach was also bad with the bloom, armor lock and other crap but the movement itself still feels like a Halo game. Halo 4 though not a favorite of mine is bad but I can bare with it and play it because again the feel and movement was a little online to previous Halo's.

I think Halo 5 multiplayer was really good even with the movement changes. I hated it at first but as I played it and got used to it quickly became one of the best for me IMO.

Multiplayer: Halo 3 > 2 > 5 > 1 > Reach > 4 > Infinite.

Halo went off the rails with Reach and it somehow isn't sticking that its a bad idea to keep trying this stuff.

The games are built around sameness. Its like a 6-8 gun game, everyone is supposed to have the same stuff, and its primarily played on the ground. They keep deviating from that and its not helping.

I don't think you can do the XBL Gold and convert to game pass thing anymore. Maybe you can try to find a digital key to see if it still works.
