I will say it's crazy seeing it live. Before seeing the show On Sight was just ok to me. Now it's one of my favorite tracks.

botl was god level at first then i seen botl live and saw the light i dont know how it got better but it did

he trolls music message boards, soundcloud, youtube, vinyl stores, etc. He sometimes hears songs other people do or samples they use then either reaches out to them or recreates things himself. nothing he uses as a sample is that obscure. just not in the universes most of hip hop first fans operate in.

It's a old song from a church choir on the south side, he prolly heard it growing up or something

I mean... he samples a Hungarian pop band on New Slaves

Then later in the album he samples Courage the Cowardly Dog... I'd say it's pretty damn obscure.

Btw, updated personal album rankings after listening through most of them this weekend (and hundreds of times over the last 10 years). IMO...

1. Dark Twisted Fantasy
2. Late Registration
3. Yeezus
4. College Dropout
5. Watch the Throne
6. 808s
7. Graduation

Just wondering how did people on here find out about OG owl pharaoh? KTT or elsewhere after it leaked?

Great point, talking about the obscurity.

I see it in tiers, with Tier 1 being: MBDTF, LR, Yeezus
Tier 2: 808s, Grad, and CD

And then a really big gap
And then a bigger gap after that
And then
Tier 9: WTT

The album was awful when I hear Who gon stop me, Made in America, why i love you, and that's my *****.
No other Kanye album has this much filler.
There are some JAMS though- no church in the wild is epic, otis's energy is unmatched, and primetime? boy thats my ishhhhhh

EDIT: peepgame- dude. **** yes. in his top 10 songs to me. more of a Late-Registration-era feel to me though

Omega is a very very popular band in Hungary. They've sold millions and millions of albums.

Foreign doesn't necessarily mean obscure.

I was just about to reply to that post "key words being 'pop band.'"

Like I said, the stuff he samples isn't mainstream to typical American hip hop heads, but it's not THAT obscure.
