As someone who can't stand EDM, I think Kanye's tweets were pretty funny.

As someone who has gone to a mostly all electronic music festival, I will never understand its appeal. Different strokes for different folks though.

Kanye was torrenting a VST (virtual instrument/synth).

He could have been trying it out or to be honest, it's sometimes just more convenient to torrent a VST than buy it and have to register it and ****. 

I don't think that rumor of him suing TPB was true.

No, I know who Deadmau5 is. I'm familiar with his ridiculous catalog. I've also seen him play live. I also know he remixes other people's music.

Whether he "mostly plays his own music" or not isn't really the point.

I don't like Deadmau5 at all.

But he's calling out Kanye for stealing software from a company Deadmua5 owns

That is totally different than remixing a song or using a sample.

As you can see from the vid Deadmau5 music is mostly synths and beats and stuff

If he does remix a song it's because someone approaches him and pays him to do so

If it wasn't approved he wouldn't put it out cause he would probably get sued

Deadmau5 is not the type of DJ that ques up a playlist on his MacBook of other artists music and does nothing

He plays mostly his own original stuff and improvises with heavy equipment
