Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

That's too bad... but I'm not surprised from the reviews I've read, I could see it not working for everyone.

Yooooooooooooo

I mean YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LUTHER!

Why yall aint tell me?!!!?????

I'm only two eps in :eek :eek :eek :eek :eek :eek :eek :eek :eek :eek :eek :eek :eek :eek :eek :eek :eek :eek

WHY YALL AINT STRESS IT TO ME!

This is ******g great :smokin Like this is just what I needed. Perfect thing to hold my hand between the wait for Breaking Bad. Plus I'm liable to watch ALL 14 eps right now non-stop. What are the British thinking with these 4 ep seasons?

This **** is like everything I love about cop drama thriller action. Right out the ******g box though. Son got his stalkerish Moriarity figure. Son is like Columbo meets Sherlock with a dash of bad guy all rolled in one and that's the best way I can explain it. I can't even properly describe what else makes this so good. It has the air of mystery to it as well.

Yall should've told me.

On another note, the classic Face/Off is on right now and so is Con Air. Nic Cage needs a life time achievement award :hat

:lol yeah, Luther is brilliant. I've been rewatching it with my brother (his first time) and I kept saying "Oh, yeah... this part is great" over and over

Considering how good the first two movies in their "trilogy" were (Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz) I was worried that this one wouldn't live up... But it did.

ive had hot fuzz on blu ray for years but never watched it. the only movie out of the trilogy i didnt see

just saw fight club. so many great quotes.

Just got done watching He Got Game.. A good movie to watch. Should be one to watch before you die imo

I want a poster of Leonardo Dicaprio and Matt Damon on the roof during that final scene in The Departed.

Is it me or does Cillian Murphy look a lot like Peter Greene?

On a related note, Emma Stone and Ruth Wilson could be sisters.

Watched hot fuzz again. Much better this time around. It's 20 minutes too long though. At least every time I was about to be bored or look at the clock a funny line or some action happened.! But 2 hours was too much. I like how it had an actual plot and was essentially a mystery story. The effects are great. I still think Shawn is on another level.

Pegg is the best when it comes to action/comedies. Hes a truly talented guy. People who made pineapple express could learn a lot from him.

I wasn't a fan. But maybe I need to revisit that again too. It was so hyped up and I saw it so maybe that affected how I watched it. I remember walking out of the theater hating it.

And it's not because I hate Franco or Rogen. I loved this is the end and freaks and geeks.

This might be the best season of Mad Men IMO. Normally they'll have some boring spots but every episode so far is entertaining from beginning to end.

Don will always be a dawg on these females :lol :hat, treating his mistress like a prostitute.

Pete is becoming more a ***hole every season.

I haven't seen enough Roger though.

Season 5>

Pineapple Express is definitely better during second, third, and fourth viewings.

Give it another chance Dub.

So random I was watching the Simpsons episodes when sideshow bob steals a nuke and hides in a blimp and as he's setting it up he is whistling the song at the end of dr strangelove. Never noticed that. Miss those little touches.

Simpsons soundtracks and use of songs in episodes especially emotional moments>>>>>>>>>>

What's good with Ron Howard's Rush? Saw the t.v. spot trailer for the first time and it caught my attention (partially because Howard is directing).

Looks like it has potential.

Just so we're clear, to all my brethren in this thread, for the record, Steven Seagal has no classic must see martial arts action movies right?

I just peeped some of Out For Justice. Skinny Seagal era. Meh.

did you not :smokin enough? for me i found and still find the last half hour to be too much, but i still enjoy the movie thoroughly.

Exit Wounds is the one with Segal and DMX right? I'm gonna nominate that one just because of D M X.

Never Die Alone is my favorite DMX flick though.
