Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

B Bronson You like Blow Out?

I have a friend who is as obsessed with The Last Jedi as you are Attack of Da Clones
To be completely honest with you jpzx, I’ve never actually seen Blowout.

You should give Attack of the Clones a recent viewing. Would like to hear your thoughts

I haven’t finished Blow Out yet. Nope never seen Dressed To Kill, BDP has a lot I haven’t.

I don’t see myself watching any of the Star Wars movies anytime soon, next time one comes out maybe. I’ve seen all 9 + Rogue One a trillion times ish.

LIFE

Boy I knew from jump they were f’ed.
Could tell that thing had more knowledge in its tiny little fibers than every Being on the ship.
Calvin, I’m definitely rooting for Calvin.
40minutes in, it’s about to go down!

So scary. That thing will just not quit. Great movie. And the end 🔥

LIFE should be way more appreciated than what it gets.
You know darthska darthska i think remember you giving your thoughts and I had the awful FLU at the time and never got to start it and watch it but Man, what a blown opportunity that I just made right.
Film kills! That was intense. I don’t even know why I fell into #teamCALVIN but I think it had to do with Hugh’s Love for it, something about Calvin that I could relate to on a deeper level than I can explain. Bad *** little being.

Life was so good because the antagonist was ******* unrelenting. Its survival was apparently killing all of them or taking over. And it caught Gyllenhall and Ryan Reynolds in a weird time, where today I feel like that'd be one of those "come back to the movies"-movies.

What happened to RR right away was sweet and sent me and I was bought in, but because of what happened overall and we would take on a new story/people, I'm fine with it as its own thing. I loved it though like you said, you want more.

For people who enjoy absurdist, dry British humor; I recommend Darth Marenghi’s Dark Place, which is now available on Peacock.

Six episode series that’s a spoof of an 80s hospital drama, with supernatural elements.

It’s absolutely ridiculous

So I found an indie zombie film on HBO starring Aubrey Plaza and Dane Dehaan. "Life After Beth." It was decent. Solid 5/8 for an obviously low-budget indie film thats punching above its weight with star power. The pacing of the film and the interactions/relationships kept it moving well, and a few surprising cameos were funny to see.

Aubrey Plaza was definitely queen in the mid 10s and the highlight of the movie. She was great. Dude from Criminal Minds looked like he was having the time of his life and killed it too.

If you're running low on comedies and like Aubrey Plaza, this is a good quick watch.

No!! The major appeal to LIFE is how it ended! Make a sequel, and a 3rd, and a 12th, eventually they're going to 'fix' the way this one ended.

Leave it.

I completely agree but they’re going to F it up.
They’ll be “forced” to extend the Universe because “we asked for it”……

It’s like the perfect ending for an 80’s type thriller…no loose ends either.
They tied everything up perfectly, I know they’re not going to just let it go like that, they’ll have an attempt at what you say, “fixing” it.

On another note, WHITE LOTUS.

Y’all think Harper was getting dug put by Cameron when Ethan ran up to the room and the door was locked up? He’d absolutely kill Cameron if he caught them. He’s a killer.

Life didn't do good in the box office so a chance of a sequel is bleak.

Outside chance is they get to do a sequel 10 (or more) years later and they don't really promote it as the Life sequel but just another alien/sci-fi movie on earth similar to them Cloverfield movies or sort of gow ppl didn't know Unbreakable and Split were connected.

Or you can go with the jokes the writers decided to go with after the rumors/theories and the sequel to Life was Venom.

Desi Collings has to be one of the creepiest characters in Cinema.
I remember watching that film opening weekend and dude gave me the chills from jump.
