Listening now, and man.......such a unique experience that I watched Casino BEFORE I ever saw Goodfellas. And apparently, that changes my entire perception of the film compared to everyone else.

I LOVED Casino. I mean LOVED that movie. I saw it in theaters with my future sister in law. She kept mentioning Goodfellas, I had no idea what the hell she was talkin about. I was a damn kid, I didn't know what Goodfellas was. So TO ME, I almost feel like I like Casino more, probably because I saw it first, and the rest of the world is the other way. (And I love Goodfellas, when I did finally watch it, I loved it just fine.)

I'm only five minutes in and all of these guys were frustrated that it wasn't directly tied to Goodfellas, or that it was "different" etc, even tho they say it was the same.

CASINO > Goodfellas

No question
