Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

Y’all ever wake up in the morning and go “I think I tore my heel tendon last night”
That could be plantar fasciitis. I’ve had that before and it was always worst right when I woke up. Could barely walk. But the pain radiates from the heel all the way to the sole of the foot, it’s not just the heel.

Brother I went through plantar fasciitis it became my religion as a teen growing up, not that arch heel bit, this just feels like I’m old as hell and bent down and hurt my heel.

^^^ Yeah, I definitely experience pain and discomfort primarily due to old-itis. Other day I was in my car and reached to grab something from the backseat and it felt like my arm was ripping out of the socket. :smh:

need to see this again later in the coming weeks

It makes perfect sense that the folks who are derailing this thread right now are the very same individuals who come in here to post NBA-related commentary because they don’t stop for a moment and consider if they’re in the appropriate thread corresponding to their comment.

We're ok fam. Folks calm down after a bit. We got good regulars in here that bring things back on point. Don't stress it. :Nthat

First for today (VOD). I liked it a lot and now I need to read the book - another concept that has been repeated dozens of times. B Bronson have you read The Midwich ****oos by John Wyndham?

Main guy is actor Elvis Nolasco, never had seen him in anything but he was incredible.

Overall some moments where our protagonists should be more scared than they are, or can connect to the TV airwaves by touch, just some bad moments like that.

if you remember Mr Rogers at all even if you didn’t watch, I’d give it a try. **** little Major tho.

Harder to watch then any of the terrifier films? Movies are brutal.
Honestly? For me yeah. Naomi Scott did the damn thing. I did not know she had acting chops like that.

I got no problem with the Terrifier series because after the first gory scene, I can't disassociate all that blood and carnage from the fact that they're all just practical effects dummies. Like they stop being characters in a story and they become mannequins and props. They're going for shock and awe and there will always be a market for that.

But the scene where Sienna sees her dead best friend from #2 at the dinner table? That was really scary and well done with the slow reveal. I felt that impact more than just watching Art dismember a couple with a chainsaw or even the rat tube scene.

Smile 2 I was really impressed with. I thought it was better than the first one on all accounts. I felt legit unease just watching someone unravel like that (again, Scott ******* killed it) and the few gory scenes work pretty well. Yeah there's still a few cheap jump scares but that's just default with the horror genre now.

I also enjoyed Smile 2 much more than the 1st even if the rules of the demon got confusing as the movie went on. It was a wild ride and they did a great job building up the tense moments and keeping you engaged throughout.

Still planning to rewatch 1 as I only saw it once in the theater.

Elvis is a really good character actor. Best performance I seen from him was on the show American Crime. He played a junkie one season, then played a stressed HS principal on another. Killed both roles.

Watched this the other night. Decent film. IDK why but I went into this with high expectations. Maybe the Raimi involvement? Didn't live up to the expectations but I still enjoyed it. The lead actress was the standout.
