Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

I had literally opened up YouTube and taken this exact screenshot to post :lol

I can delete the pic from my camera roll now. Great minds think alike!
Man, the extent to which you and I think similarly is undoubtedly interesting

I kid you not, my first answer to your question was going to be the conclusion to the Departed, when Marky Mark got his kicks all covered up, pops Sullivan, puts on his beanie and dips

Great question by the way! And your example was a perfect one.

Finally got around to seeing Smile 2 and The Substance.

First off, Naomi Scott.... wow. Excellent performance. I love to see actors taking horror roles seriously. i.e. Toni Collette in Hereditary and McAvoy in Split. My only gripe with the film was its run time but it wasn't a huge deal. Can't wait to see the next installment in the series.

Annnnnd then we have the substance. W......T.......F???? I spent most of the movie in disbelief that I was really watching Demi Moore in a body horror film. But there I was lol. The commentary on ageism and pretty privilege in society was nicely done. it never felt heavy handed to me. Bravo to Demi and Margaret Qualley. Qualley is becoming one of my favorite young actresses.

I'm still goin to Kraven this weekend, but......damn. :(
I'm actually considering seeing it also. Just wish September 5 was playing around me but looks like I'll have to wait til next month for its wide release.

I finally broke down and started listening to the Rewatchables of The Fast and the Furious and Fast Five.

The smile on my face listening to these guys. I typed all that **** 10-15 years ago. :lol

Fast 7 next, which might get a little dusty.

All the hype around Wicked left me a little disappointed. I kept hearing about how this was a good MOVIE movie but I don't even think it was all the great of a MUSICAL. I enjoyed it overall but this wasn't the 8/8 everybody made it seem.

The 2 leads did their thing though, no denying their talent.

Black Doves on Netflix was outstanding. 7.6/8.

Six episodes, flew through it in two nights. Already renewed for Season 2.

Speaking of Blu Ray/DVD I just realized the TV I bought for my room doesn’t even have an A/V port for my player. Is that normal now?

Sadly, yes.

Mine i have to swap between satellite and Blu-ray and it's a huge pain in the ***

Well damb. Realizing I have gold buried in my storage unit apparently.

That's crazy - charity shops around here have even said they're stopping taking them - and what they have is like 4 for $1 to clear them out.

Looks like I'm checking out The Jackal and Black Doves this weekend. Also for the espionage fix, Slow Horses is fantastic if you haven't seen it.
