Rumor circulating that Chadwick Boseman, star of Warner Bros. 42, the Jackie Robinson story is at the top of Marvel's list for Black Panther. Previously Morris Chesnut was pleading for the role. IDK how much I buy into it but Boseman is young, already in box office hit film so it could be plausible. Keep an eye out for him in Avengers 2 in a possible cameo role.

Like I said, I don't know if I buy it, it's common sense that a young black actor is up for the role but who knows...I don't think this is too big of news, but those that saw 42 can weigh in on an opinion.

Boseman was okay in 42 but nothing earth shatter.

Great CGI post-apocalyptic earth and great cinematography in the same vein as Prometheus.

So where you at now? What you have left on the QT side of movies? Based on how you have handled Pulp Kill Bill and Django, and you already liked Inglourious, I see you're understanding our high praise now. So what's left before we really get into heavy discussion on what this guy is all about?

You still have Four Rooms. True Romance (written by him, if you remember) Death Proof, Jackie Brown, Reservoir Dogs and I think you'd be caught up, yes?

I've actually seen Reservoir. Couple summers ago. Loved it.

On the Django DVD, there's a promo for a QT bluray box set: Pulp, Jackie, Kill Bills, Death Proof, Inglourious, and Reservoir Dogs. I think. Have to recheck.

I want it. I don't even have a bluray player yet, but I want it.

It's not worth it. It's damn expensive, and the films can be bought separately, cheaper.

Not only that, but Death Proof doesn't come with the better film, Planet Terror. But I'm not sure either of those would be your cup of tea.

I'd wait till the inevitable KB3, and wait for that box set. Pulp, Res, Inglourious, and Jackie can all be found pretty cheap.

^^^Can you really say that Vasquez is that much better than Pondexter? Sure, he put up good numbers, but on a bad team where he had the ball all the time. I'm still not sold that Vasquez can be a starting PG on a playoff team. But Pondexter is a solid contributor on a very good team. I think the Grizz did fine in that trade.
