i HIGHLY doubt that they will be changing the lettering on the upper. they never change the original design of a shoe, even on collabs. they never change the original mold of the shoe because it is too much of an investment. look at WINGS for example, all they did was color blocking and changed the tiny little plastic inserts.

if Nike is gave them opportunity to create a brand new shoe, why wouldnt they give them the opportunity to change the lettering.
its not like they need to create a new mold for the uptempos. theyll just be stitching SUP on the sides instead of AIR.

It's much easier to swap out some leather, than build an entire new shoe from scratch. Not sure why you would think otherwise.
